Finished season 1. Sue's speech was great! A bit harsh, but I like the drama.

Also, please don't spoil anything outside of season 1, 26, 27, or 28. I haven't watched any but those. Season 2 is kind of ruined because I'm 95% sure I know who wins, but still don't say it because I could be wrong! Thanks!

While I won't specifically post something like "Joe Shmoe won season 8", we may give away some of the things that happened in those other seasons when we say things like "Remember when xxxxx did that same thing, yet it worked for them and backfired for yyyyy". Or "XXXXX did the same thing on and it got them on the jury and they blew it".

I guarantee things are going to slip out about these other seasons since they are things the rest of us have already seen and can relate it to what is going on today.

So hopefully you can get caught up quickly!!

I'm okay with that, but I was just trying to avoid blatant spoilers like "Remember when blah blah won?"

I remember liking several people in that season and pulling for them to do well. But seeing those same players in later seasons, in different situations, made them really annoying. It's so funny the way their personalities shift depending on their performance, place in the game, environmental factors, etc. The ultimate social experiment.

@PUSH, if you haven't already seen it, make sure to watch Susan Hawk's Jury speech during the final episode of Season 1. It is one of the best ever.

It's funny to think that in the first couple of seasons, it was taboo to create an alliance, now it is the thing you have to do.
I agree. That speech was scathing. I hadn't watch the season and I turn on the TV to this show called Survivor. I didn't really know what it was but these people were giving speeches and she blew me away. Unforgettable.

I know its not as good as Susans, nor as memorable, but last season with Trish bashing Tony actually scared the crap out of me. Then again, many moments with Trish kinda shocked and spooked me...;)
Yep, Trish had a way of saying things that just kinda ripped into people. I don't know how else to say that but yeah she scared me too.

Her "speech" was very emotional and passionate and obviously dipped very much into her personal life. I also think Spencer's speech swayed a couple of votes, too. The first thing that came to my mind when he was giving that speech was "Wow, if he got to the end there is no way he would have lost".

Do you think Spencer helped Tony win when he addressed the jury on Tony's behalf?

Survivor 2014 Blood Vs Water Premiere Date Announced
By: Matthew Boyer | August 4, 2014 at 5:56 PM EDT

Survivor 2014 start date has been confirmed by CBS. The San Juan Del Sur seasons will start on September 24, 2014 with a 90-min premiere episode starting at 8PM ET/PT.

Season 29 of Survivor will bring back the popular “Blood Vs Water” theme but with the twist of all new castaways this time around as they’ll be forced to compete against their loved ones.

Great news about the all-new cast after last season’s fantastic group of castaways kept us thoroughly entertained as we got to know them instead of starting off the season knowing who we did and didn’t care to see move along each week.

Stack that on top of Jeff Probst confirming Redemption Island would not be back this season and you’ve got me hooked already. Thank you, CBS!
