I can't wait either. This season's also the first to be broadcast in HD, so we get to see every last disgusting detail.

IMO, the greatest challenge of Survivor is having to watch it.
I refused to watch Survivor for many seasons and then I finally got into it.

Anyone have any thoughts on last night's premiere? I was surprised it was 2 hours but I've only caught the first hour so far (needed to watch The Office premiere...yay PAM and JIM!! :sohappy
That Fang tribe is pathetic. Not sure what was going through these people's heads when they started picking their tribe. It was like they wanted to pick the weakest they could find.
I also really love Jeff Probst and how his comments beat down an already defeated team. I don't know why, I have such a crush on him. Maybe it's the dimples?

I think the picking of teams is a blind-luck thing and it happens to have not worked out so well. However, when Gillian made her first pick and didn't pick a physically strong guy, I figured they could be in trouble.Anyone have any thoughts on last night's premiere? Jeff seemed a lot more pointed in his comments last night towards the tribes. It was good to see some twists in the challenges at such an early stage and a twist in Exile Island.
As for his looks, get in line behind my wife. She thinks he is adorable. :lol:

I loved the premiere. No offense to the players, but man how dumb can you be to not pick the strong guys and girls first and foremost. I am by no means an athletic person and would definately get picked last. And as much as it would hurt to be picked last I would understand.
I have a saying..."The stupid shall be punished." Fang tribe is being punished hard.
My favorite so far is Bob?, the physics teacher. He just seems cool. Love the bowtie.

Early challenges are almost all physical, and Gillian was all kinds of stupid for not guaranteeing her tribe had at least one strong guy.
I loved watching the game-playing geek go ga-ga over the one hot chick on his tribe. I figured he'd ask to be voted out so he could join her at Loser Lodge.
I don't have any favorites, yet, but I think the elephants are pretty cool.

You would think--like in last night's episode--that some of the people have never watched an episode of Survivor before. The picking of the teams was a little baffling on who was chosen when. Maybe they get nervous when the cameras are rolling. :shrug:

You know, Scott, once Gillian started the whole unconventional picking strategy, it just stuck.
Strange that the Olympic champion did so poorly in the challenges. After her interviews, I expected more from her.

Yeah, watching geeky Ken fawn over Michelle was pretty funny. I also found Charlie's crush on Marcus very amusing to watch. He is completely wrapped around his finger. It will be interesting to see later in the game(assuming their alliance goes far) how Marcus uses Charlie's loyalty in the end.
I was surprised that she did so poorly, too. Um, hello! You won a gold medal. Pick it up, girl! :lol:

Is anyone still watching this? Can't seem to get into it this year. There literally is not one person I want to root for and I still don't know half their names.
Crystal the Olympian bothers me the most. All she does is mope, pout and complain. She seems so weak for someone who has won an olympic medal. I know they're malnourished and everything but she seemed to be slacking off since the first day.

:wave: We're still watching. This is the first time in a long time that I'm not "emotionally" into the contestants. I'm not rooting for or against anyone at this point, but we are enjoying it. It should get good when the Kota tribe has to go cut-throat on each other.
