Yes - being the only trash can I know you definitely carry that distinction as well. I do, however, know a multitude of people that are full of trash.

Don't know how I feel about the voting off right from the beginning. I was kind of looking forward to seeing how Rupert is in the game.

Rupert's a good player, usually not as lazy as he was seen tonight on Redemption Island. Though like he said, he had his reasons. Good fellow, and hopefully will get back into the game somehow.

Well, that was interesting! I hate redemption island, but LOVE it in this case. It actually has a reason for being there this episode since they immediately knocked 2 people out and allowed the trade off.

Gervase really couldn't swim that far and was wiped out and it was DAY 2!! What the hell has he been doing? You know that swimming is a big part of the game. Maybe you should be able to do that. I can see him being the first returning player whacked if he has another dud performance like that and then runs his mouth about it. He did nothing, yet yelled the loudest.

I love Rupert's strategy. Let her do the work, let her be mad about it and he conserves energy...why not? There's no Tribal dynamic to worry about.

The Newbies looked like they did things OK around camp...except for fire. Again...you know that you'll need to do it, so why not practice it?

Colton won't be long for the game...true colors already came out in the boat."I'll slap you in the face with this paddle"...Really! What a jerk. Then the preview from next week. His BF seems like a good guy, though.

I loved that it was 1.5 hours instead of 1...too bad that won't continue.

Agreed - on all counts. 1.5 hours was perfect. I too like Redemption for this season - and I'm glad they didn't do the RI challenge last night. Next week should be interesting.

I was not really sold on the Blood vs. Water idea but I like how it is playing out so far. Voting off a loved one because their counterpart made you mad? It's going to be a VERY interesting season. I hope they do NOT reshuffle the teams before the merge.

Didn't like the vote before doing anything - I think that is unfair to the contestants.

Imagine you've worked so hard to be on this show... fly halfway around the world... and before you even say 'Hi' - you get basically booted. That's crap. They could have had a double elimination after day 2 to seed redemption island.. a challenge where winners get reward and both tribes goto council.

Grevase obviously isn't going to last past the first tribal... you'd be stupid to keep that ball and chain on your tribe. He acted like day 37 and he's been there 36hrs.

All Boys alliance on the loved ones tribe? Uhh.. have they ever even watched this show? When has the all boy aliance at the start ever worked out... titanic leaving the dock now... :)

I guess I won't get to see Rupert play.

I don't like Marissa. She has an attitude problem... she takes things personal when it's just part of the game.

You're not really missing much by not seeing Rupert play the game. He's played four times and doesn't really have a clue as to how to play. Loves the camera, though. I'm generally OK with camera whores if they're entertaining, but he's not.

Nice to see the additional twist on voting strategy due to the potential of a loved one taking another one's place on Redemption Island. Interesting.

Loved both of those challenges tonite. Not sure how the 2 barrel girls could even stand up there to untie those knots...I'd be so dizzy.

Rupert should know better than to leave the stack that messy in his challenge. He didn't have to rush, just be steady. Especially after Marissa got off to such a poor start.

I loved that they showed Aras talking to the tribe about Colton and described his game exactly how he is going to play it. Unless someone does something very Russel Hantz-like, He should be whacked first. There's no way he will quit because they wouldn't give that away like that. They want to tease you, but he won't quit. Just like the medical evac's...they don't tease you with those. They want the surprise.

And we're back to the 1 hr episodes and it seemed rushed. There's so many people left, but at least they are getting everyone some camera time. There are season's that I have no clue who some of the people are this early in the game.

Uh, Quit with the crying already. It's been a few days to a week...they are right over there. You're fine...really!!

Seems like, from what they have shown us, that weather is good so far. Can't wait for the bad stuff to move in!

As Probst said, there are so many layers to the voting this time around.

I'm not going to miss him and his....very....deliberate....speaking....style. Every sentence comes out like he's giving you the secret to the universe.
