Stupid move with the shoes, John. I'm surprised he didn't realize that socks would slip. And when he did realize that, he should've taken his socks off too, so he could at least get some greater friction.

I didn't realize that there's a round 2 to Redemption Island. But they made a smart move, but I think the alliances are all screwed up now. Looks like next week they will try to sort that out in a war of words.

Interesting episode. At least they made the right move this week. Aras and Vytas were a huge threat. Tyson grabbing the idol is gonna be amazing if he keeps it quiet and uses it when it will actually save himself. Nobody is even considering anyone really has it since the clues are being burned and anyone who would have had a clue is now off the show.

As it was said, dumb move to keep the socks on, John. Take those puppies off and get some grip on things.

I can totally see Ciera taking her mom out if it comes down to it. She seemed mad her mom won and got back in and screwed up her game.

Vytas was my odds on favorite to win this thing and I kinda still think he'll be there in the end since he is now a free agent, swing vote for everyone.

As Hayden said, "now the game starts".

Next weeks food challenge looks yucky!!!

definitely smart to get out anyone with a loved one - they obviously have a higher alliance than anyone else.

food challenges are always gross. I wish it was food auctions - thats my fav!

Even though every clue since John's has been burned, they are thinking someone might have an idol. The loved ones split their votes between Ciera and Laura just in case someone had an idol. Laura wanted to do the same thing splitting their votes between Aras and Tina (I think).

Great episode and a great season, so far.

Interesting episode. Tyson is playing a great game. He's always been a favorite of mine in past seasons. Hoping he keeps it together and wins this thing.

I think the strength of Tyson and Gervase is starting to get out there. It's been pointed out a couple times. I think Tyson can handle it, though. And Monica... talk about poor play. She's doing everything that it takes to get voted out. She's lucky she's still in it. Tina... dumb move with the speaking up thing. Katie... she might get through because she will be considered an easy target later on. Vytas... played it well at tribal. He opened the tribe's eyes to other problems and could have shaken things up a bit, even if we didn't see it tonight; there was nothing he could do at that point, though. Hayden and Caleb are flying under the radar. I think they have the potential to be dangerous, given the past act of Caleb making so game-changing calls. I think they will stay quiet for too long, though. Laura and Ciera... flying under the radar, too, but it looks like Ciera is going to see how her mom is actually hurting her. Should be interesting next week! I hope the food auction comes soon, that's a fun time.

Monica is an easy next vote - or should be - for Tyson. After all - he knows firsthand from his LAST season what happens when someone doesn't split like they are supposed to at tribal (if I remember correctly someone convinced him to guarantee someone else by flipping his switch and then the ones scrambling either played an idol or there was a tie and Tyson went - anyone remember exactly??)

I wasn't aware of the Double elimination, but figured something was up when the first Tribal was about 30 minutes into the show. Super smart getting rid of Vytas, so only one of them have a shot at getting back in the game. I know that wasn't the real plan, but it ended up being a good move.

Tina had to know she was on the block, so it was pretty stupid of her to mouth off...DUH! I did like her talking to Monica about being the bottom of the alliance, that should get her even more paranoid and crazy. She did definitely put her self on the top of the list by changing her vote, though. You know a lot of people were upset with that.

Didn't Gervase do the exact same thing with those grubs this time as he did last time? I mean the way he first started with the plate and throwing them toward his face, but missing. That sure looked familiar.

Ciera whacking her mom? No way they give that away in the preview...won't happen.

I don't know. Her mom's mouth & nervousness is a big liability for her. Ciera (though I still like her), comes across as the type that would turn & vote off a family member if the threat to her own game was big enough.

Ciera means business. Ciera is a competitor. She's laying low right now, but I can see her making a drastic move (such as cutting her mom) at some point. I don't think she will be a leader ever, but I think she will be a player to watch. She's playing a quiet game, but that's not bad. Usually if you are playing a loud game, you're done.
