Survivor: Blood vs. Water

Reading over the article it seems a lot of Survivor "royalty" (quotes for the LOOSE definition of the word) came from that season:Parvarti, Ozzy, Jonathan Penner and Candice (from B v W).

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I loved Penner. Even more so the season he played with Skupin and Lisa.
I have this thing about voices .... I love his!

I don't get the appeal of Parvati. Maybe you have to be a guy to get it.

Anybody else think that Colton makes a top 3 Villain list?
Russell - I actually love the guy.
Colton - If he and Caleb were the only 2 gay guys in the Universe, I still don't see what Caleb would see in him.
Abi-Maria - Hands down the nastiest girl ever. Can't have an all-guy list.
Brandon doesn't make the list, as he is less-villain, and more-coo coo for Cocoa Puffs.

I wouldn't have minded seeing Tina win but I'm okay with Tyson he did play well. Very glad Monica didn't win, she was a little annoying and needy.

Monica turned into last season's Dawn at the end. I feel like Gervase was kinda of the Sandra Bullock girl from last season (what was her name... Terri??).

I think Monica might be a little needy 'cause she shares a pillow with that giant ego Brad.
Sometimes, as a wife and mother, you become a second-class citizen for a while. A good husband doesn't allow that to happen. A lousy husband doesn't even see it happening.

Had to google it - Sherri.

Once a season is over, I scarcely remember it.
Without checking, I couldn't tell you who won the last Big Brother. Wasn't McRanda, Jeremy, Kaitlyn Aaryn, Elissa or Howie or Candace ....
That's it. That's every name I remember.
The winner - ???

I don't watch Big Brother, but I feel that way abut Survivor last season. I can name a handful, but certainly not all. Cochran, Dawn, (can't count Sherri since I thought it was Terri), Eddie, Reynold, Philip (but who can forget Philip?), Francesca (the one that was voted out first two times, I believe), and that's about it. I can picture the pretty girl from Wisconsin but can't place a name on her.

After Googling them, I can remember Brenda (she was my favorite, can't believe I forgot her), and who could forget Brandon (can't believe I couldn't!!). I remember Shamar, too. I recognize most of the faces, but can't place names on them. Oh well.

Brenda was my favourite too.
A beautiful girl - inside and out.

A day late on it, but Tyson was fantastic this season and deserved to win by the landslide he did. He played a masterful game. Gerv was done in by his mouth. A better social game could have helped. At least he did acknowledge that he did blow it and let Tyson become the run away winner by reacting too late. I really don't buy the whole Monica schtick about that's the way she played it, etc. She was totally their lap dog and was saved by them numerous times because they needed her and knew she wouldn't screw them over. She even said she was furious after Tyson used the idol on Gerv, but then didn't take action when she could have. I can totally see her being in the shadows behind Brad though. Tough lady!

I'm still of the opinion that I don't like Redemption Island. Once you are voted out, you should be out.

As was mentioned in the post game show, the weather was very tame this season. That always adds to the conflict.

Colton is worthless as a player. Hope to never see him again.

Did they do a fan favorite of the season? If so, I missed it.

That one stood out for having some of the most likable and some of the most detestable contestants in the show's history. And probably the most gorgeous (Andrea

I'm not a Survivor fanatic, being that I've missed more seasons than I've watched, but this one seemed mundane. I had no rooting interest in anyone. I think the producers just kind of checked out early in the season.

The rewards seemed to be nothing more than lunch. Where were the exotic ones? Waterfalls, spas, native experiences, Adam Sandler movies...

No recap episode. Not an entirely bad thing. No family reunions. Not even a video message. Couldn't they set up a reunion without the awkward family reward challenge (the younger group ALWAYS wins)? No fan favorite vote, from what I've read. Did Sprint withdraw its sponsorship?

It's really not blood if you're just boyfriend and girl/boyfriend. Hayden crying over his soon to be ex-girlfriend is something he'll one day say "what was I thinking?"

No fishing. No chickens. No rain. Was there a tarp? There didn't seem to be any rationing. Camp life never seemed easier.

Wow - I respectfully disagree.
I have been a Day 1'er. Have only missed one episode EVER. I found this to be one of the most complex, intriguing seasons. The "loved one on the other tribe" schtick added a whole other layer. This was also one of the few times that RI actually worked.

Kat's a twit - no argument there.

Based on the Ponderosa weigh-ins, there was certainly a high degree of deprivation and starvation going on.

The rain and weather is beyond Production's control. Nonetheless, these folks were pretty battered, bruised and insect-bitten.

Apparently the Fallen Comrade Walk was filmed, it just didn't make it through the final edit.

I missed the Sprint Fan Favourite vote though. Who do you think would have won?
