Supposed to be arriving in WDW TODAY for our honeymoon! Flight cancelled........

Just thought I would put this on!

We set off from home this morning to go to Manchester airport in the UK ready to fly to Orlando for our honeymoon .......... we got half way there to be told our flight was cancelled because of a volcano erupting in Iceland and the ash was floating over UK airspace!

You can imagine how we felt at the thought of our long awaited trip being cut short! We were told we could not fly til sunday which wasn't good news at all and made us feel worse! :brick:

However ..............

Our operator said if they could get us return flights for 2 weeks on sunday and be able extend our stay at the Dolphin then that would be an option..... and they can do it! So we will get our full 2 weeks in WDW after all! (Just delayed)

It seems Every cloud has a silver lining - Disaster avoided :sohappy:

Congratulations!!! Hope you have a great time. Sunday is probably a better day to fly out as tomorrow they most likely will be lots of delays on the flights as they try to clear the backlog of flights.

I just hope the backlog has cleared by then as everything is on hold til 1pm Friday!

But I must say that it has made me that bit more excited for some strange reason!
