Ohmigosh!!! What a great time SSW 2002 was! I wasn't able to go last night because I worked, but I went all day today & had a blast. I did not do the talk shows, motorcades or street party. It was way too much of a mob scene for all that & I deal with mobs daily, so i didn't feel it was worth it. I did, however, run from autograph session to autograph session. Disney had it all organized so well & it was extremely entertaining, with the exception of a few idiots who had to act like infants over the "celebrity" thing. I cannot believe how some grown women will act in public. Sheesh! I can honestly say that I never screamed once. Well, OK...I whooped once when Sam Page (Trey Kenyon - AMC) flashed a smile for the camera. What a hottie!!! Anyhoo...in case anyone is interested, I was able to get pics of many people from AMC, one from Port Charles & one from OLTL. I have them up in my photo album. Some pics are great, some are not so great. The album is at:

Quite a collection of AMC starts you've got there! I truly enjoyed looking at the pictures. Thank you for posting them!:)

So tell me, what were they like? You said you had gotten autographs....any from AMC? I'm just wondering if the actors are appreciative of their fans or if they are more "stuck on themselves." I've heard that they're very pleasant but just wanted to confirm that!

Well, I didn't get autographs per se...at each session, cast members were handing out autographed photos to people already, so I took those. I received one from each AMC representative in attendance. I didn't want to bother with hanging out for 3 hours for each line to get up close & personal, esp. considering that most of the actors/actresses were on mini "stages" & the best you were allowed to do was stand in front of them for a pic. Also, with the 3 hour lines & then them only taking a few people from that line, you ran the risk of spending the whole day in like 2 or maybe 3 lines & missing everyone else, on top of possibly missing the person you stood in line for!! Instead, on the side of each "station" there was an area you could get pretty close & just snap pictures. So, I ran from location to location (catching almost everyone) & just did it that way. They were all really good about stopping from time to time to pose directly for those of us in that area, as you can tell from the pics. If we called their name, they'd often come around to the front of the podium & wave or something. They were also very talkative.

Jack Scalia (Chris Stamp) was thrilled with everyone wishing him a happy birthday. He kept saying "you guys are just great. Man I'm impressed with you people". Eva La Rue (Maria Santos-Grey) was very, very sweet. She was very appreciative that all the people were very vocal about our happiness at Maria's return to the show. She is ecstatic to be back as well. Rebecca Budig (Greenlee Smythe) definitely earned her reputation for being a sweetheart. She even took a fan's phone & talked to the girl's friend who couldn't make it to FL for the event. Aiden Turner (Aidan Devane) was hugging & kissing everyone & he seemed sincerely flattered that so many people wanted to meet him. Sam Page (Trey Kenyon) seemed really shocked that people consider him to be such a hunk. He's way modest. Alicia Minshew (Kendall Hart) was a riot. We were calling her name for pics & finally she looked right over, raised her arms in the air & screamed her name back & said "I can feel the love. You guys are awesome!" LOL

So yeah, they were MORE than appreciative & VERY VERY friendly & outgoing to everyone. I was VERY impressed by every single one of them! Glad you liked the pics...Thanks!!

Mrs. Sam Page? OOOOOOOOOH, I could only hope. YOWZERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is absolutely WOW!

Thanks for the update about how everyone was! I'm going to have to make it down there for one of these SSOWs! LOL:D

Oh and Chris Stamp is a hottie too! And Vincent, and LOL I could go on and on!:D :lol: :)
