Hmmm...I kinda thought it was self explanatory
Well, for the "BIG GAME" (Erika that's for you)...people set up a grid (10x10) and you buy a "square" in the grid. The entire grid gets filled up (say it's $5.00 per box) then the entire pot is $500
(100 squares X $5.00 per square)
after the names have been entered into all 100 squares (names of people who bought that square), numbers are drawn and placed into the grid randomly...(0-9 for each side...columns and rows)
the columns are designated to either the AFC or the NFC team...and the rows are designate to the opposite.
now...with the numbers in place...you find your square...say you are in the #4 column and the #8 row. If the Raiders are the columns and the Bucs are in the rows:
if the score is 28-14 (Bucs ahead), then you would win (if that is the final score of a quarter) (you go by the last number in the score for each team)
For instance...if you look at my numbers...
If nobody scores in the first quarter...I will win (0-0)
If the score is 18-3 Bucs at the end of the half, then I will win
(Bucs 8, Raiders-3)
get it?
(It's a fun bet because you don't need to know ANYTHING about football to have fun with it...it's all based on chance
(Some numbers are better than others...for instance...0-0 has hit more than any other combination in Super Bowl history) (8's and 5's are tough...because it's hard to get an 8, 18...and 5, 15, 25, etc.)
