I haven't been to the new Sunshine Seasons since last year. I was wondering if anybody that has been there has found it to be an improvement or has it lost something. I know before it was a nice place to chill out a little and enjoy a laid back atmosphere. You had a large selection of foods..seems now they are pushing healthy food on you...lol. It's vacation how else are you supposed to get fat. Just wondering if its too crowded now with soarin' and LWTL so close to each other.....I miss Snooze Rocks already though cause it was 25 min of shut eye..im all for the future though...let me know what some of you think if you've been there! later mouse potaters.

I haven't been there but here's the menu: http://allearsnet.com/menu/men_ssff.htm

I agree. It does seem way to healthy pushy. Nothing on it looks overly appealing to me. I liked that it used to be a range of food but good standard fare. BBQ chicken or something. Not [font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Rotisserie Chicken Flatbread with Wild Greens and Tabbouleh. :hurl:

[font=Verdana, Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Oh well. I've heard it's extremely crowded in the Land anyway from Sorain' traffic. But again, I haven't been to it yet to verify personally.

the family and I were there last week from the 23rd to the 26th, the inside looks good much brighter and fresher, the foodcourt has a wide variaty, but it's way too toooooo expensive for what you get. the best I can say is find something that two can share and split it up, otherwise it's a real pinch in the pocketbook.

I love it!!!

Great tasting food and plenty of variety for everyone to choose from!

Also, the set up allows for a nice flow of traffic.

Well done Imagineers!!!

I was extremely disappointed in the selection.

We ate there with friends and were hard pressed to find something to eat. we settled on the Beef/Flatbread. It took 2 sets of plastic silverware to break before i just picked it up and ate it with my fingers.

I happen to love it. I really like the Turkey Muenster and Cheese Focaccia with Chipotle Mayonnaise... :slurp:

The sandwich is HUGE and I can't ever finish the whole thing but it's yummy!

If you want burgers and fries and chicken strips, you have the Electric Umbrella. This is for those who want more than the same-old-same-old. I havn't gotten a chance to eat there, but I will. Good Sushi selection too....

I don't understand people saying there isn't selection.

Yes, there aren't burgers and chicken strips - but there's tons of other stuff. If you don't get something "fresh made" they have tons of other stuff in those cold cases. Actually, they're got pretty much everything those cold cases.

I loved the food! And yes, the goat cheese salad is actually pretty good.

I found the selection to be wonderful. If I didn't want something healthy, I could always get a child's hotdog meal. I thought it was nice change from the regular "hamburger and french fries".

And the deserts were amazing - especially the strawberry shortcake!! It was my favorite!!! :slurp:

I also love the new menu in The Land. Very fresh and healthy. They don't even have a frier installed in the kitchen there!

I agree that the prices are high (it is WDW after all - hello), but the portions are large. I ususally share an entree with my mom or sister, and add a salad. The only thing I miss is the fountain.

Well, though the fountain is gone, there's a new construction wall up outside over the "rockbed" that look a lot like a fountain - so we might get a waterfall soon.

I only wish, i thought that area was a great spot for a small waterfeature.

What I found too when I went last week, that if you don't want the flatbread, you can get regular mashed potatoes, all you need to do is ask. They're quite good too! I loved it!

I don't understand how people are disappointed with this place. The selection is huge and the lines are not long due to the food court style set up. I highly recommend it. A nice break from the ordinary burger.

I haven't been since it reopened (it was still being worked on during Soarin' AP weekend). However, I'm already missing the Chicken Parmesean. Luckily, I've found a reasonable facsimile over at Pop Century. Nothing on the new Sunshine Seasons Menu just leaped off the page at me. But I'm willing to give it a try.
