haven't done it, but you have to be staying at the AKL concierge level to qualify as well as have a valid park ticket...

AKL concierge level is required then call resort itinerary planning guide to make reservation .We are going to try it in March also .you may want to act Quickly it is limited to 54 or 55 people per day.

I believe that because we are having a Grand Gathering and staying thru DVC we may have a better chance.

Have you been told that is one of gatherings available? I see a safari Dinner available, but not the Sunrise safari - that is still listed as a Concierge exclusive.
