Um, I definitely feel the same. I hate that thing! The first time I went on it (6th grade), I cried.

But I think they toned the movement down in recent years. Because they definitely do not move as much as they used to. Now they hardly move.

I never expected it to be a thrill ride when I got on it, but BOY was it ever! I've never gotten motion sick, but I've been in cars with many other people who have, so it's definately NOT for everyone.

For a REAL thrill, if you don't mind getting wet and happen to travel to Disneyland resort on a rainy day, check those things out! They REALLY get some swing going with slightly more slick tracks. ;) Definately not for the faint of heart!

I skipped the Sun Wheel when I was there last fall. Had I known it was THIS crazy, I probably would have given it a try. Guess I missed out.

The moving cars were definitely a lot scarier than what I was expecting... but a LOT of fun!!

its fun to ride both.... moving cars make great movements... not only that but no seat belts :)

and the stationary cars go up higher and help make great photos of random stuff around the resort area of disneyland...

For someone who is not fond of heights, the stationary cars are troublesome enough, see-through floor, slight unsetling pivot movement, and the swinging cars coming hurtling at you randomly from seemingly every direction. Not fun, not fun at all.

I don't think i'l ever go on the swinging ones again.

i was in a car on my own, so i thought the complete off balance of weight made my car go even wilder.

I always have a death grip on the edge of the seat whenever I go on it. I hate heights and always think we're going to swing off the ramp into the lake. :dazzle:

And yet, the concept of the whole thing was almost 20 years old... :D
