Good Morning all!

I spent the whole week in New Jersey helping to set up a new store....it was a lot more work than I thought.....and I had no internet access .

Now I'm home and ready to enjoy a wonderful day off!

Have I missed anything around here all week?

Hi Chrissy! Sounds like you were a busy lady. We need Nibbs here - she's much better at updates than I am! :lol:

Betty's DD moved into her apartment.
Dot sent out Lauren's wedding invitations.
Miss Maggie will be 2 next Saturday.
HSM 2 finally aired on Friday night, and there was much rejoicing in 'tween' land.
.......and I need more mentally alert people to fill you in on the rest. :lol:

We did a shared Father/Daughter Mother/Son dance and used "Have I told you lately that I loved you"....it was perfect for my dad and me.

Pfft. No. I love fall too -- just never experienced one :lol:

It gets really pretty around here late September/October. SE Ohio is particularly beautiful during foliage season. A lot of travelers make their way down there to see the scenery.

You start the 19th right? There shouldn't be too much change yet, but the drive through NC, Va, and W. Va should be pretty anyway. How early are you getting into your dorm?

We have a bit of a dilemma. . .
Although George insisted on the very traditional "Daddy's Little Girl" for the Father/daughter dance (and Lauren happily obliged) the groom wants something far less traditional. So far nothing seems quite right.

Why is it a big issue?

The groom hates anything that is even remotely schmaltzy.
He's letting Lauren pretty much choose all the music, but he wants this one dance to be something he'd like.

Well, I'm special because I was chosen to be an Ohio State Welcome Leader (OWL). So I move in on the 13th with other OWLs, then when everyone else moves in on the 16th, we help them move in. Fuuuun

But I get first choice of beds and a free t-shirt. I'm stoked.
