I can't find a place that I'm comfortable with it....I'm such a wuss....

It took me forever to find just the right thing.
Anything that sat directly on my lap was just too hot and cumbersome.
And a computer desk sort of defeats the purpose of the laptop.
But the tablemate allows me to sit comfortably on the sofa with the laptop right up close to me, but not on me. And it can easily be pushed away.

We have it also. I didn't want to see it at first. My DDs insisted so I did. Almost as good as Grease.
Dave was helping our friends who are moving to Jacksonville the other day and came home with this HUGE corner desk. It's beautiful, but I have no idea where he thinks we can put it....Here is George's domain. . .

George changes his room almost daily. He's had every kind of desk you can think of, including several homemade versions. Right now he's using this simple long table that seems to work well. That's his haven. He'll go in there and get lost while I'm getting lost on my little corner of the sofa. Works for us. . .
