My 1st trip to the world in 10 years in 2008 was 2 weeks and it turned out to be the exact 14 days that spectro didnt run because of the bridge that was under refurb!!

Maybe this is the gods saying sorry, if it works out, Spectro MSEP, M3 and Wishes in 1 vacation would be AMAZING :sohappy:

That is pretty much the way I heard it as well. The train and the monorail are shutdown which once or twice a year is doable but every night gets to be a bit much.

I'm still hoping that there will be a planned extension to the MSEP to run through the fall so that my kids can see it. Hopefully guest response will be so good that that's what will happen (fingers crossed).

Rumors seem to indicate that it will stay, at least up until 2011 for the return of Spectromagic...Perhaps for the 40th.

My inner overplanner is getting really antsy. I wish Disney would hurry up and update their online park calendar to show the Nightastic stuff. I really am hoping that MSEP will run every night and I am dying to know the name of the new fireworks program. I was hoping when the October hours were posted that the changes to June, July, and August calendars would also appear. Any ideas as to when this might happen?

So will there be any other information being released about Summer Nightastic? I thought Disney said there would more info to come? Also will we see a official Summer Nightastic logo for WDW similar to what DL had last year with their new dragon? What about tv commercial ads?

Locally, you should. But they aren't throwing the term "Summer Nightastic" around in national campaigns.

So far, outside of the Disney Blog post on the Summer Nightastic offerings, until the newest promo code came out this week, there was nothing about it on the official Disney website. There is even an actual page on the WDW resort website about the Summer Nightastic offerings. http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/summer-nightastic/ However, the park calendars still show Wishes as the fireworks program all through the summer and if there is a night time parade listed, it's Spectro. I really hope that they update the calendars soon.

Well, I think that's a bit of a mistake. Why have special offerings if you aren't going to advertise them to the public in order to garner more guests?!?!? :shrug:

I did see a Verizon/Disney commercial last night that made a point of stating that only Verizon users would have the hook up at WDW to make the most of their park time.
