Ok...here we go. One of Nibbs world famous updates:

Betty: doing good. Her son is going off to college this Sept, so she's getting ready for that. Also, this weekend, she went to a hoity-toity wedding of a relative and had to drive home the drunk aunt of the bride.
Steph (mpoppins76): keeps working. Her work has some people out for the next few weeks and she's working mucho hours.
Dot: Is quitting her job schlepping coffee this week and had her daughter's bridal shower this weekend, which was a huge hit.
Krystyna (DisneyBunny): has 6 weeks left of being pregnant and boy is she feeling it! :lol:
Jenny(PotteryGal): is ready for her kids to go back to school. She's also planning a surprise trip to Disney for her and her daughter in January.
Connor: Is back with us and well, he hasn't been around for a while, but he was very sad about the ending of Harry Potter.
Susan (Disnut): Just got a crown replaced and just came back from a lovely trip to see her parents for their anniverary.
Amy (WaltzingMatilda): hasn't been around much lately either, but I'd assume that comes from the fact that her husband's mother passed away recently.
Freddy (Fantasmic!329): is planning a trip down to Disney and will be there in less than a month. He's super excited about it.
Dawn (SamnDawn): has been busy with work and pops by on occasion.
Mad: has been good, but busy. I think she's got a lot of baseball stuff going on with her two daughters.
Joanna (joanna71985): is finishing up her last 2 weeks at Disney as a CPer for the summer.
Rick (rlareomech) has been busy with his new bundle of joy. His baby is (I believe) around 8 weeks old.
Vince: Just moved to Florida and is having a wonderful time getting to visit Disney on a more frequent basis.
Luke: Is busy getting ready to go off to OSU
Danny: Is being his Canadian self. His sister goes off to college in Florida soon.
Dana: been busy with miss Maggie

Oh, and Me: I just celebrated my one year anniversary with What's his Face.


And I think that's the major updates.

Yeah...they are definitely hard to avoid. It seems like they are ever more rampent.

Well, if posts were counted in chit chat, I would be in the hundreds, if not thousands. :lol: As it is, in the 'Friends' thread, you'll find people who are ardent lovers of anything Disney, but try to keep it in perspective with the rest of their lives. :animwink:

Have you been reading any of the thread about those lovely Brazilian groups in July? I know you're more than likely staying mod./deluxe, but I'd be afraid of running into these groups in the parks. :brick: :brick:

I have never had any bad things happen with tour groups while we have been there. We always go in the summer time. I was thinking if my sisters can go they might stay in the values but after reading that I say no don't go there. I still don't know what we're going to do. I have a little bit of time still to think it over.:sohappy:

Do they at least compensate you Steph? Or is it one of those caring companies that pays you a salary and then takes advantage of it? Not that I'm bitter about the practices of American corporations from my personal experience :lookaroun

Dot - was your job one that required schlepping coffee or is that what you now do to pass the time as you are sans job? Hope the wedding is as big a hit as the shower.

Jump up and down a lot, you may be able to halve the wait.

The kids here just got out of school. They have until September to spend the days smoking, drunk and vandalising cars.

Nothing to get excited about. I was there a couple of months ago. It's just a few parks filled with cool stuff to do and see ;)

Which is a sad thing. I used to belong to a Dog board, but the owner of that go so brassed off with the abuse, bickering and so on that he pulled the plug on it.

I wonder if the day will come when Steve decides it's more trouble than it's worth with some of the crap he has to put up with.
