Well, I thought I had to pick up Dave's check, but he just told me that he'll have time to do it afterall. Then he and his brother are going to his sister's to "talk". I think I need to stay out of that one for now.

I hope that goes well.
And you're right to stay out of that one.
She's going to be very defensive. . .at least at the start.

My wory is that both Dave and his brother are basically marshmallows, so if she gives them some lame excuse, they'll buy it. We talked it over the other night when we had dinner at BIL's and it was funny - SIL and I are on the same page about her, but the "boys" were coming up with all kinds of excuses.

If the boys don't make any headway, maybe the girls should step in, then.
Just a thought. . .

We probably will.

Anyway, Sunday we'll be taking MIL's dog from her and bringing it here. I'm not sure how that's going to work out, but it has to be done.

That's good of you!
Kody might be a bit miffed at first.
Or she might love some company that isn't feline.
You never know. . .

MIL's dog (Ginger) is pretty hyper, but I'm hoping we can keep her in the backyard during the day, and she'sused to sleeping in her cage at night. Right now, SIL keeps her caged 24-7.

No wonder she's hyper!
She'll probably calm down a good bit once she gets used to being free all day.
She has too much pent up energy!

She really does. She'd be better off somewher wher she has lots of room to run around, but for now, our little yard will have to do.

I told DD yesterday about it, and she's really thrilled that we're doing this. She was heartbroken when she saw Ginger the other night.
