Summary of new character locations following the opening of Pete's Silly Sideshow

The opening of Pete's Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus has shuffled around a number of character meet and greet locations. Here is a rundown of the changes.
Minnie and Daisy have now moved from Town Square to Pete's Silly Sideshow.
Goofy has moved from Adventureland to Pete's Silly Sideshow.
Donald has moved from Frontierland to Pete's Silly Sideshow.
Chip and Dale are now meeting at the former Donald Duck location in Frontierland, opposite the Golden Horseshoe.

Is there going to be a replacement for Goofy in Adventureland?
I think bring back Captain Hook and Smee for meet and greets would be good. They are classic characters and they are also well known now because of Jake and the Neverland Pirates. On that show their image (or at least that of Captain Hook's) has been softened a lot. (Smee was always lovable and soft). This deals with the issue of little kids being too scared of them in the park and allows WDW to bring "villians" (who are beloved by a segment of fans) to be back in the parks.
Also, with Chip and Dale moving from Tomorrowland to Frontierland I have a few questions. Are Chip and Dale be themed to Frontierland? (Any pictures of them) Also, is anyone going to be replacing Chip and Dale in Tomorrowland?
As it stands it appear MK is losing 3 characters out of this change. I know Gaston is being added to New Fantasyland, but Prince Eric is leaving Ariels side, so that is a wash.

I know Beast is coming to greet before diner at his castle for those having a meal there, but are you saying he will be meeting elsewhere in FL in addition to this? If it is just at his castle he will be meeting, I consider this a loss because he is not available to all to meet. Also the additional staff to deal with the Beast meeeting at the castle for diner should not come from the Entertainment Budget (and therefore count against the over number of meet and greets) because it should be paid for and offset by those paying for the diner.
Also, as far as my question as to a replacement for Goofy in Adventureland and Chip and Dale in Tomorrowland????

Chip and Dale are wearing cowboy costumes with their names sewed into the back of their little vests. I do hope they bring the pirates back to Adventureland especially since as was pointed out they are on that show which apparently is popular (there is a lot of merchandise for it in the parks).

No replacements coming for Adventureland or Tomorrowland. Gaston will meet day guests very soon.

That is poor on the part of TDO to be pulling all these characters with no replacements. Also consolidating them instead of spreading them out.
Any word if anything will replace Ariel on the Adventureland Veranda when she goes to the new Grotto soon?

Good. The Chip and Dale Tomorrowland costumes were the worst theme costumes in Disney History. Were those sideways helmets?

Which characters are being pulled? What did I miss? I thought they were all just relocating.
Honestly, the other lands were SO cramped with M&G's, this will be better spread out. Though I do wonder where Tink will go eventually. Once Tink is gone, i'd like to see Hook or Captain Jack back.

I don't see Tink going any where any time soon.
I guess number of characters aren't really being lessened, it is more that we are lossing meeting locations (Adventureland by POC, formally Goofy), (Adventureland Veranda, soon to be formally Ariel and Prince Eric) and Tomorrowland (Formerly Chip and Dale).
I would disagree that lands were cramped with M&G's. Where Goofy was in Adventureland there was no other characters meeting in that area. Both Tink and Ariel are in the front of Adventureland. Tomorrowland has only Stitch meeting there and there is nothing else close.
True Marie is now at the MK, but that is a loss from France (which she was better suited for). Also France may be lossing the Beast as he is coming to Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Overall the total number of character opportunities seem to be going down across WDW. Further more concerning is the number of locations of M&G. More clustering of characters is occurring. There are positives to this, but also negatives in the way of spreading guest out through the parks. There is a segment of the WDW fan base that loves character M&G's, especially those with small children. TSO is forcing that segment into smaller zones and causing greater consentrations of this population in certain areas.
I always like the idea of wondering through the parks and seeing "who was around the next corner." It seems we are losing that notion.
Buzz Lightyear is still in Tomorrowland.

no one was pulled at mk, only relocated and marie added. Characters were pulled from other parks

Yes, I had another post later (See Below) where I acknowledged that nobody was actually pulled, but as you pointed lamented about the overall loss of M&G's in all of WDW.
