It may or may not have been the most weird thing of all time which ended up working out in my favor...
I got back from the bar at 1... and my roommates were asleep, I was alone... wanted another beer or two... so I went to a bar on the corner (which is like the hotspot cuz its the only bar in my town open until 2) by myself...
*hangs head in shame smiley*
I went ALONE...
made friends with some guy when i got in... then just started talking to this girl. Real sweet girl.
And allllllllll day I was like "it'd be nice to meet a girl who recently got out of a long-term relationship too... just would be easy to talk to..."
well she got out of a 5 year relationship like 3-4 months ago...
So I told her I'd love to take her out sometime... and honestly I'm just the type of person who always wants to help people out... so it wouldn't even have to be a date... just someone to go out with sometime, I know where she is having just gone through it...
So we exchanged numbers... :shrug:
(she mighta kissed me at the bar...
so... maybe tomorrow I'll shoot her a text... :shrug:
so... to bring us up to speed... I'm debating texting her right now...

If I had a trip coming up, the answer would probably be no. I always make my ressies too late. Come to think of it, I often book my trips only a month or two out, when I can no longer resist the temptation to go.

As to how I'm feeling....meh.
I was up a good portion of the night with a wicked fever and horrible coughing.
Went to the doctor this morning and it was just what I thought it might be....bronchitis.
So now I'm on medication and an inhaler.
Funnnnnn way to spend a birthday.
But anyway...thanks to everyone for the b'day wishes!!! :kiss: :wave:

LOL, I absolutely did say that. Because I am thinking about it...but at this point it's just thinking, unfortunately. We are just so broke right now, but like I tell Grant "Hey! Anything could happen!" I have to say every time I've really wanted to go, we've managed to make it happen.
And I take my inspsiration from you...seeing how well Anya's done gives me faith that Jack, at 1, will enjoy himself too.
Say...did you ever take a nap with the baby on the couch and she rolled off and banged her head on the hardwood floor? Of course you didn't...ony a really terrible mom would let that happen.:lookaroun

It's terrifying!
Not to mention she literally like... she did and she didn't believe everything I said. She was like "you know exactly what to say, I don't believe you. You're just trying to take me home aren't you"
I'd be like "no!!! I'm not that guy" and then say some kind of really sweet gentlemen thing... and it would make her like... like me more but also put her guard up more...
I walked her out, was gonna give her a kiss goodnight, but once we got outside, her guy friend definitely thought I was trying to go home with her cuz he like grabbed her from me and goes "yeah i got it from here thanks chief"
I was like... what the heck...
so he thought i was a scumbag...
but seriously, worst that happens is she says no or doesn't respond right??

I honestly know exactly what i wanna say, but i think it'll be longer than 1 text, and my iphone doesnt tell me if something is longer than 1 text, i don't wanna send her two texts worth for first contact... soooo awkward
