The funny thing was that there was construction so it was either that road or a different road....I had told DH we should take the other way but he decided last minute to take this way instead.
So I kept saying, "SEE I told you we should've taken the other way!" He's like "Oh c'mon, like I should've known there were going to be elephants blocking the road."

We did a little furniture shopping, but didn't buy anything yet. We're in desperate need of living room furniture. Would have been nice if I had it for the shower, but that's not gonna happen. I want a nice roomy sectional. It would work better in here than the sofa-loveseat combo we had. We got rid of the loveseat because it just took up so much floor space. But that means we have only a sofa now. Thank God for folding chairs or all you people would have to sit on the floor!

Have you looked at Ashley furniture? That's where we got our sectional and got a pretty good deal on it

OMG! I can't believe you just said that! Rossella across the hall has the nicest sectional, and I keep forgetting to ask her where she bought it. Anyway, after going to several different stores, I found a sectional identical to Rossella's...on Ashely's website. The only problem is, it faces the wrong way. We found out there's an Ashley's in NJ near us, so we're gonna go there and see what else they might have. Maybe it's even possible to get that same one in reverse.

DS had an honors project to do for his Film class, so we spent Friday evening on the road picking him and his GF up on Long Island. We got home that night at 1 a.m.. Then Saturday I spent half the morning on the phone trying to round up "extras" for him, since most of the people he though would come did not show up. Then Dave and I spent the afternoon and early evening with them, being various extras and advisors to him. We left around 6, came back here and cooked a lasagna for him and the rest of the crew, then came back here around 9:30. He didn't come back here til 4 a.m. :brick:
Then, I had to go to my school's open house today, so Dave had to drive them back alone. He should be back here around 9 or so. :snore:
