Suitable attire for thanksgiving trip

This year due to work commitments our trip has been delayed till late Nov /Dec. as we normally go in August can anyone advise what clothing is usually suited for that period. Or is it just the usual shirt and shorts with a sweater if it gets cold?

Same as any other time of year. Comfortable clothing & shoes. You may want to layer as it could be cooler in the AM and evening. If you are looking to do Thanksgiving dinner...book it 180 days out...unless you like McDonald's for dinner. Restaurants will sell out very quickly, especially those at the resorts where park admission is not required. You will get a lot of localsl who go to the resorts for dinner.

It's HarmonioUS, NOT HarmoniYOU.
I usually go during that time.

Shorts and shirt during the day... and maybe a light pair of pants.. or sweatpants during the night at the parks... and a spring jacket. It gets a bit nippy at night.

My hubby & I went last year the week after Thanksgiving and it was really hot - we had tix to MVMCP, and while we had packed a cute sweater & scarf to take a christmas card photo and we ended up in tank tops, it was so hot. I would def recommend t-shirts / shorts for the day, 1 pair of pants and a sweatshirt / light jacket just in case. We totally packed to many cold weather clothes. You may want to check online for a 5 day forecast to double check what you packed.

The end of November is the best time to go. You may suffer in the pool because of the temperature, but Christmas is kicking off and you won't melt in the sun... Shorts are still good, but it can me cool in the morning.

I agree with the other posts. November is ususally hot, but prepare for the possibilty of cold. We usually wind up wearing shorts during the day and pants and sweatshirts at night. There have been times that it's very cold then. My Mom and Dad took my nephews a few years ago and didn't prepare (even though we live in FL). They wound up having to buy ski cap and gloves for the boys bc it was soooo cold. I believe it got down into the 40's and 30's. While it's rare, it can happen. Make sure you check the weather before you leave to see if a cold front will be here.

No, you should wear long black clothes, with white, highly starched collars. A black stovepipe hat and I'd carry a blunderbuss, if I were you

Late November is when things are just starting to cool off. You may have several days of upper 70's to low 80's then a cold front move through and highs only in the mid 50's. I agree with the others that the evenings can cool off quite a bit not uncommon even on those warm days to have lows in the low 50's to upper 40's.

Now this is coming from a Florida local and if it drops below 50 degrees you would think a winter weather alert was in effect winter clothing used most commonly only for skiing becomes very popular.
