Suggestions for Romantic Dinner?

This is my boyfriends and my first trip together to Disney (we're going with some family as well). My mother has offered to treat us to a nice dinner, and I want some suggestions on where we should go (and we're both of legal age). I'd love somewhere nice and romantic, but reasonably priced. ANY IDEAS?!?!?!?

Well, romantic and wonderful, but really not in the reasonable category is Victoria and Albert's...something you really should experience at least once.

Ok, in the more moderate category, I really enjoy Artist's Point at Wilderness Lodge, Chef's de France in Epcot (a little bit noisy), Flying Fish in Boardwalk, Yachtsman's Steakhouse at Yacht Club. Many like, but I don't care for California Grill at Contemporary. Narcoossee's and Citrico's at GF are also very nice.

I think the mexio pavilion can be kinda nice at night but make sure you get a seat right by the water so you have one side with no one.

Hey KSMICH!

Sounds like fun!

We always try to work in a nice quiet "special" meal at least once during our many trips!

Remember one thing while reading all the tips that follow:

ROMANTIC DOES NOT HAVE TO MEAN EXPENSIVE!

There are lots of places (actually, almost any restaurant at WDW!) where you can request a table for two in an out of the way location. Of course, after dark, the places all take on a MUCH more "romantic" glow.

Fun and less expensive places include Tony's Town Square and Liberty Tavern at the MK, Mexico and Canada at Epcot, Mama Melrose's and The Sci-Fi Drive In at MGM, and Portobello's or Bongo's at Downtown Disney. For resort dining try the California Grill or O'hanas.

Wherever you decide, be sure to capture the moment with pictures!....AND ORDER DESSERT! :slurp: HAHA!

It's WHO you're with...not the amount of the bill, that make it a special evening!

HAVE FUN!

Chef's Table at Victoria and Alberts....just kidding that's far too expensive. Try some of the restaurants at Downtown Disney, the boardwalk is also nice at night.

It really depends on the type of food you enjoy. I personally would suggest a few of the restaurants that have areas to explore outside the restaurant itself.

Narcoossee's at GF is very nice and right on 7Seas. You can stroll the beach after dinner and the resort itself. Very nice.

Jiko at AKL is an excellent place with a lively yet intimate atmosphere. The food is exotic, so it prmotoes "oooh, try this!"-type sharing. Also, wandering the pool area at night is beautiful and feels very secluded.

Califorina Grill is more of a trendy, upscale location and gives you wonderful views of MK.

If you are in the parks, definitely hit up Epcot. Coral Reef near the windows is dark an intimate (although some find it overpriced). So, LeCellier at Canada would be my suggestion. It is wonderful.

Really, most spots can be a wonderful dinner spot. You can find spots in every park or resort where even getting a small counter-service meal can turn into a nice picnic on a beach or bench near a castle or large fountain. Have a great time!

Jiko is the BEST! It was voted #2 in the U.S. for best hotel dining :slurp: And yes, their pool is so beautiful :) I love Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Coral Reef at Epcot is kind of pricey and VERY small portions. It made my whole family sick when we went there. So if you're willing to be in the bathroom a few times that night, go right ahead  :lookaroun

The liberty is very romantic. My fiance took me there back in april. I also loved the interaction w/ the character.

Narcoosee's at the Grand FLoridan .If you dine during the firewords you can watch them go off from there. It's a nice quite location and much easier to leave. When watching the fireworks from inside the park it is kind of hard when leaving. So this is a nice way to end the evening.:)

I like Coral Reef a lot, I think it is somewhat romantic but it is delicious and have the aquarium on the one side of it really makes it a nice place to dine.

California Grille as said above is an excellent place to eat though, try to eat at a later time though, if you can, try and be seated 15-30 minutes prior to the start of Wishes over at MK

Also, if you can (not sure if you can) try and do this at Cali Grlle with a requested window table

California Grille with always freshed cooked food and the steaks are cooked very tender and juciy!!!! Plus a great view of the kingdom and you can walk out to the observation platform for a look at most of WDW and the entire Magic kingdom. Have fun wherever you go!

If you are a meat and potatoe kind of person like me, try Shula's Steakhouse.
Its either at the Swan or Dolphin, I can't remember. A litlle pricey but my wife and I went there on our anniversary and loved it.
