I like the Redtails, but that my be stepping into another political football (pun intended) because not everyone
will agree with the name's background.
I like something like the Washington Freedom which is kind of like a soccer team name and it shouldn't offend
anyone unless the country eventually turns communist then we'll be revisiting the name again.

I think Lobbyists has real potential. Every time the opposing team scores - a Lobbyist team member or coach can attempt to bribe the officials to throw a late flag thus nullifying the score.
They could also be lobbying for possession of the the football to begin each half and to obtain extra downs if needed. I think every official would find themselves lobbying with the league to be scheduled for a Lobbyist game. Which of course the Washington Lobbyists could assist with - for a favor sometime in the future.

Yes. I'm sure the folks who sit in front of the tv for 3 hours and watch their local team are hoping your suggestion becomes their new reality.

I am watching an NHL game. The Detroit Wings are hosting the Chicago Blackhawks.
It just occurred to me that maybe the ownership of the Blackhawks had to answer questions about if they planned to change their team logo or whatever.
Maybe not. I never heard anything. Yet hockey does not have the national following that football has. It could be a story in Chicago and over here in NJ I'd be totally unaware of it.

The NHL is trying to focus on diversity and inclusion because the lack of diversity is ingrained into the sport.
