E. Also, it isnt THAT stupid, but i have heard people repeatley call Test Track "Fast Track."

My mom says that every time we are down in epcot. "I wanna fastpass fast track." I be like, "They aint got no fast track here" and she go, "I mean test track, whatever it is"

She also calls spaceship earth "The Sun", and I be like what the heck is that, they definitley aint got no ride called the sun here.Get it right momma, as well as the COP "carousel of promise", TTA wedway people eater.

Youd think a person who've been there for so long they know the name of the attractions by now, and they know I cant stand when they get the names wrong:brick:

They also still get the notion that the Magic Kingdom is still Disney World, since they last visit when the magic kingdom was all that disney world was, ohh well they need to step into this generation

As long as I don't refer to MK as Disney World and EPCOT as not being in Disney World then we should all be okie dokie!

Count me in on this one too! With as much WDW as I talk, I need all the abbreviated versions I can get! :D When talking to my friends, I almost always refer to WDW as either "Disney" or "the World" because they know what I mean without me having to say the whole thing every time. And the initials are pretty handy when writing, but in speech it's a pain to knock out those 7 syllables each and every time I want to mention the World.

My favorite is when people come out of the MK and don't remember that they must take a Ferry/Monorail to the Parking Lot. They take one long look as Seven Seas Lagoon and announce:

"Hey, who moved the Parking Lot!"

I once asked a taxi driver to take me to AKL and he said 'Magic Kingdom Lodge' and i said 'no AKL, its a hotel not a park, there isn't a place called MKL!' Ok he said. Well he ended up taking me to Magic Kingdom!! He had never heard of AKL and was convienced that I meant Magic Kingdom Lodge!! I don't know what he was on but we got to AKL, eventually!!

OK, my dad calls Fantasyland Strollerland. He knows the right name but he thinks he's being funny because of all the little kids there. It really gets annoying. Especially when he's giving Disney newcomers advice and they actually believe that there IS a Strollerland in WDW!!!!

Hey we people at space call it..Space or The Mountain...

But god do I hate when people say Mission to Mars, or Speed Pass or Fast Track, I want to start slapping everyone in sight!

But dumb things at space include:
Is this that thing up there? (pointing at the TTA)
Why are there no more fastpass? Is it broke?!
Can you tell me if Space Mountain is working again?
Why are you closing now?
When is the 3 o'clock parade!?
Why can't I use my fastpass 6 hours early if I am going to be leaving that park now?
Does this thing go upside down?
Are both sides the same?
Can I have the front? (not really supid, but it get really annoying when every other person starts asking for it because they heard the person infront of them ask for it

Ok my nephew is standing over me making me type this...
on our last trip, by about the 6th day I was calling my husband "Uncle Daddy" because we had our two kids, 2 nephews and 1 niece and I was either saying "grab Daddy's hand" or " you guys go ride ToT w/ Uncle Brian" eventually, I would get confused and slip up and say "I'll meet you and Uncle Daddy in front of CBJ" Now our nephews and nieces still call him "Uncle Daddy".

unfortunately I am one of those people who knows what they mean, but can't always say it. I am known for saying things like "go put the clothes in the oven" meaning in the dryer of course.

There are so many people out there that think MK is Disneyworld...they say:

"What park are we going to today"
"Let's go to disneyworld today, not Epcot"

Ummm...HeLLo! There are 4 parks that make up WDW...:brick:

GUEST: "I mean space mountain."
ME: "There are mountains in space?"

some stupid/weird things I've noticed:

-someone at universal trying to use their disney pass to get in.
-people waiting in the single riders line at test track and then yelling when they were told they weren't sitting together.
-many people thinking that you stand up on tower of terror. "it's an elevator, duh!" (though this really isn't THAT stupid because on some of the ads they make it look like people are standing.)
-so many people call test track fast track.
-so many people mess up fastpass too.
-people booing at people in the fastpass line at space mountain. this included young children, so I thought that was horrible.
-people looking for universal rides at disney and vice versa.
-so many people on it's a small world that let their children stand up and put their hands in the water.
-people videotaping or taking pictures of weird things, like bathroom floors.
-people asking if rock n roller coaster starring aerosmith had anything to do with the band aerosmith.
-many people thinking that maelstrom is just like the matterhorn at disneyland.
-a group getting out of line at the great movie ride because they thought the room with the movie trailers was the whole attraction.
