Stuff that's overpriced in Disney but you buy anyway

As a Disney family we have spent a ton of money over the years. Our home is filled with Animation art, collectables, etc. Our visits to WDW find that we spending much less on "collectables" and more time enjoying the parks and resorts. We do however spend much more on food then we did 10 years ago.

This is funny. We have the monorail playset and it goes around our Christmas tree every year, so I guess it turned out to be worth the investmento_O
Haha that's how I use mine. I'm thinking about buying another because the amount of cars on it is not accurate. Oh the craziness.

I have been reading the answers and taking everything in...:)..For me if I like it at Disney,I buy it..I've never thought oh my god! How much did I pay for that....Now I'am not saying I'am splashing out $$$$$$ on a ornament or rare print..But just like a dining experience at Disney. If I'am enjoying a meal that will set me back $250.00 for three of us..I don't mind..To me it's a magical vacation that happens once every two years,or in my next vacation, three years..As Mrs Hatters reminds me many times..You can't take your money with you when your gone..Enjoy life to the full..Amen!;)

You can't bring beer from the Hess station into the parks. I live 40 minutes away- if I'm there for the weekend we bring our cooler. I'm talking in the parks.

Last trip we spent $30 for Duffy, yes Duffy now resides at my home. At least I can see him on my girl's bed which is more than that piece of $6 Werther's caramel is doing. At least I hope it isn't still here.......Disney makes me throw caution out the window, spend like there's no tomorrow and say it was good while it lasted

It makes me wonder how long has this Diamond encrusted Cinderella Castle has been sitting in Epcot?

Considering the price.....I'd say it's been there since 1982...
It has been there a while and if I'm not mistaken the price has gone up

I have too many pins for my own good, and they're not cheap. I mean, you stick them on the lanyard, and never wear them outside of the parks. But it's so fun to collect them!

Everything. From the flights to the tickets to the hotel to the food. Everything is overpriced. But until I am priced out of it, I will continue to pay!! :)

EDIT: THE MOST EXPENSIVE thing I've ever purchased was a champagne cocktail while waiting for our table at 50's Prime Time. It was $15, and when I asked if I could take it outside and they poured it into a plastic cup for me, it amounted to little more than a shot. That has been the only overpriced thing that really ticked me off at WDW.

@mergatroid I'm the same way at Cabela's with the fudge! Was there last week and paid something like $14 for 4 pieces. But it is oh so good!
I always get fudge wherever I go, and WDW is no exception. I would have to say, though, my favorite overpriced item in the parks are the chocolate covered strawberries. So expensive and gone so fast.....

On Wednesday night it will be dinner at Chef Mickey's. My daughter loves Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and I don't want to spend half my day in lines for autographs, so I'll deal with it. For me food is the big thing we waste money on. We bring snack and sandwiches but with all the walking you are always a little hungry. We pass on souveneirs because we will be back again real soon.
