Sure they have a plan and a goal, and the most likely explanation is that they are getting ready to start demolition/construction because said plan has been approved, at least in part, along with a budget. But that isn't the only possible explanation. Disney is a big company and we have little insight into what's really going on. The closure could be because they decided to cut the operating budget for the next quarter even though they know there's no budget for demolition yet, and they could be removing things just because they want to preserve them for the future or because they had a handful of CMs scheduled with nothing to do.things have already been Approved why you think they Started removing things Quickly from the Attraction they just don't go ahead and remove them for nothing they had a Plan with a Goal Behind it
And CAPEX budgets can be changed and updated after they are "finalized" anyways. So actual question, here is an actual answer not a bunch of raving nonsense.
I would think Disney does a rolling CAPEX, with "final" budgets approved in June. We do that in September for a 1/1 year. But, a rolling CAPEX doesn't have to go to the board until the green book is approved and the budget needs to be fully vetted. Until then, it's a forecast.
Demolition is the easy part of the game. What's your point, caller?things have already been Approved why you think they Started removing things Quickly from the Attraction they just don't go ahead and remove them for nothing they had a Plan with a Goal Behind it
I think many people around here associate that abbreviation as standing for Bay Lake Tower and not Back Lot Tour. You probably would be better off renaming the thread to spell out Back Lot Tour, if you can do that.
Sorry, I don't know the timetable.
What is the current status of the BLT demolition
Bottom Line Technologies (www.blt.com) disagrees! And only on these boards would "BLT" mean something other than a great sandwich!
River Country should be used for a New Zombie movie as the Decay and overgrowth of trees and the murkey water would be a great backdrop for a zombie fight
pics?since it closed down after the 27th..and most of the Queue has been cleaned out
I say they should do a Twilight Zone themed Halloween event at DHS as part of the parks revamp in addition to whatever attractions they are building. Gear it towards the older crowd and then Disney will have two different events for different crowds at the same time. Win/win.Looks like Disney found its place for something to compete with Universal's Horror Nights or whatever they're wickedly awesome October haunted house themed program is.
Yeah....River Country should be used for a New Zombie movie as the Decay and overgrowth of trees and the murkey water would be a great backdrop for a zombie fight
we should know more on the 11th when the other area attractions are rumored to be closing.
