We were thinking of bringing our lightweight regular stoller instead of our umbrella stroller, we are staying in Disney and wondering how the stroller thing works with Buses and Monorails etc.... Is it ok to bring a regular Lightweight stroller or does it have to be an umbrella stroller?

It's ok to bring either as long as you can fold it up to get on the bus. They do not allow you to leave it open on buses. Monorail is hit or miss depending on how crowded it is. The ferry it is ok to leave open, but smaller boats will have you fold it up. As long as it folds up, you should be fine. Just remember, you have to fold it, unfold it and carry it around. That is the deciding factor on how big or small to go because you are the one doing it.

Did it for 5 years and you get good at working the stroller :)

I have a really lightweight one from Graco. Had it for 4 years now. I love it. It's been to Disney World 3 times. It folds up small enough for on the buses. I would take the one that reclines and has a basket for stuff before I took an umbrella one.

We decided to buy one of the larger umbrella strollers. folds almost as small as an umbrella but has an under stroller compartment, side pouches, and is taller than an traditional unbrella so it doesn't hurt my back to bend over and push it.

I think it weighs under 15lbs.

That would work. We had one similar to that at first, but my hubby is tall and it didn't work for him. The one we have has an adjustable handle. Here it is.

Thanks! If I remember correctly, he ate almost all of it too! Hubby only got a little of it. It came for the ice cream shop on Main Street. One of my favorite places!:sohappy:

OMG that was a big Ice Cream Cone:) Lucky little Guy!!!

Ok thanks everyone so It looks like I will bring the cheap one then I even don't' have to worry about the Maclaren Quest getting stolen.
