StoryBook circus opening date possibly ??

So checking the WDW Website, i noticed Dumbo will be refurbishment from Jan - February 17, could this mean StoryBook Circus is opening on February 17, or February 18 ??

*This has not been offically announced (that i know of), and this is MY PREDICTION

I'm gonna guess SOME of Storybook Circus will be open at that time. That will most likely include the remnants of Toontown Fair (Former County Bounty shop, Barnstormer, Train Station) and Dueling Dumbos. That will be the first of several elements of the new Fantasyland opening next year. It's not much, but it's something...

I would rather they wait and open everything at the same time in a big reveal. That way they could make sure everything in the expansion was perfect first. Plus, everyone likes a big reveal after a long wait :sohappy:

That's really not practicle at this point. First, the existing Dumbo has to close before they can finish the BatB side of the expansion and they are not going to want to be without that signature attraction for a long period of time, especially since capacity is already down with the former Toon Town closed. Second, since the mine train was a later edition it won't be complete until long after everything else (late 2013 or early 2014), so they won't want to have a bunch of completed attractions sitting idle for another year waiting for the mine train to be completed.

ok So I was on the Walt Disney world website and it only shows Dumbo being closed from the 9th of january until the 31of january not until the feb where is everyone seeing that. Also I am showing that big thunder is only closed until the 31 of march not until may can anyone help me with this

The March date is b/c currently the calendar only goes up to the end of March. Steve (site operator) has stated that it's reopening May (and he's usually right on)!

As for Dumbo... I have no idea what's going on there! Yesterday it said Feb. 17th! I just tried the MK calendar for Feb. on the Disney World site and it's blank... odd!?! :shrug:
