Stormalong Bay and Shipwreck Pool at Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resort closing for maintenance in January 2025

For our Aug trip, YC was quite a bit cheaper than BW—I’m guessing because BE has updated rooms.

May not mean much, but when were staying at the BC last December shortly before Christmas, it was crowded. The couple of times I walked through the YC lobby, it seemed pretty dead.

FYI SAB and Hurricane Hanna’s are both closed as of today. Activities are mostly moved to the lobbies of both resorts though there is an afternoon pirate pool party at Yacht Club’s pool.

Neither would I, but I suppose that if the refurb doesn’t greatly affect their bookings, there’s really no sense in offering a discount.

Well they’re massively overpriced with the pool…

But I suppose if you want it more quiet without all that nonsense…it could be a nice change of pace?
