I guess i must be one of the few that actually like this Attraction..but i am looking at it with different eyes.
The AA of Stitch is amazing to watch as is 'Sarge' in the pre show.
As a Animatronics fan, seeing those two figures in action is a must each visit.

Yeah well. "Sarge" is actually just T.O.M. 2000/S.I.R. dressed in a fat suit.

Though Sarge might actually be a degree creepier, as the molded "face" on him actually looks like a human skull poking out from behind his robotic components.

It's the moustache that does it....it looks more like human teeth than human facial hair.

Naturally, this brings to mind the sci-fi/horror movie Virus in which an evil AI takes over a bunch of robots and decides to use human beings for spare parts....basically, what Star Trek's Borg would have looked had they been designed by Rob Zombie.

Take it out. Replace it with a Star Wars meet and greet. Take out Monster's and ship it to HS. Add in WallE. Add in Star Wars and Guardians of the Galaxy. Theme the restaurant to a planetarium with a view of the cosmos: shooting stars, view of planets, etc all spread across the ceiling of the restaurant. FutureWorld really needs more cohesive theming and focusing on all things outerspace could do it if they remove Monster's.....

I really hope TL will get some love once things wrap up at AK and maybe HS......

I agree with all of this except the Monsters Laugh Floor...and there's no way they'd move it. If it goes, it'll be gone forever. it's out of place certainly, but I really love that attraction

You really think so?
It's not like that attraction has a lot of hardware that would be difficult to move.
Other than the big tank prop on the right side of the stage, the entire attraction is really just 3 screens, a lighting rig, and a couple PCs to run everything.
It's one of the most easily-portable attractions they have.

Right now I would say yes, but the latest AAA movie from star wars is approaching 10 years old, while the avengers and GotG are both far younger. It really is comparing apples to oranges. It would be more fair to compare them after the next SW movie comes out.

A different angle:

Would either an Avengers movie or GotG weekends (month) sell out?....

OK, bad example...all three probably would.

And my 20 something daughter and her 30 year old boyfriend would be the first in line. When they saw the Marvel logo at one of the parks this past week (cannot remember which one), they both squealed like 5 year olds.... Me, I'd rather be at Star Wars Weekend in my Jedi robe with my light saber. And riding Star Tours until I got the Vader opening and the Frozen Planet of Hoth combo.

While all good ideas and things I'd love to see, would prefer the Star Wars M&G to be part of Star Tours and hopefully expanded SW presence in DHS. Agree that TL needs more cohesive theming around outer space. Why not add a Cosmos-like show in the space vacated if Monsters moves to DHS? And put a GoG in Stitch's spot. If Disney is going to expand Pixar in DHS, wouldn't WallE fit better there? And if there's going to be some loving for TL, the first ride to boot is the Speedway. Nothing says the future like slow noisy go carts spewing smelly diesel fumes...

I've said it before, and I'll say it again- retheme the Speedway to Sugar Rush from Wreck-It Ralph. It's a popular IP that people seem to want to see represented more in the parks, and it would make a good midway transition point as you move from Tomorrowland into Fantasyland (or vice versa).

That's actually a terrific idea. I would love to see that,

That is a fun idea. I still think that is where Frozen should have gone, but.....It amazes me how little they have done with this attraction. Yes, the thrill of driving for young kids is there, but from a theming standpoint it just seems so...meh. Disney does a better job than anyone else when it comes to theming that it shocks me that the raceway still remains the same as it did years ago. Heck, even some interesting topiaries or water features would add something to the mix.

Yeah. There is practically nothing to differentiate it from the many, MANY imitations at theme parks all over. Heck, I actually think I prefer Hershey Park's, because there you can use race cars or old-timey motor cars.

The issue for me with the ridea is just the sheer boredom of the ride....I mean the AE set up (seating ect) was built knowing the star of the attraction was fear....now we removed fear but the ride did not really change....nothing replaced the fear even if kid friendly was the goal
