I'm guessing that means no more AA-heavy preshow.I shouldn't go into details but expect the layout up to the main show chambers that we've known since December 1971 to be radically different.
The long considered Star Wars speeder bike roller coaster would have been a perfect application of virtual reality, even in a big park. The whole thrill of the speeder bike scenes in Return of the Jedi is the way they dart through these tight forest spaces. With a typical roller coaster the primary view for most people would be the butt of the rider in the next row. You'd never be able to just barely miss hitting a tree nor could an animatronic storm trooper pull right up next to you. There is no safety envelope with virtual reality.Imo even all the more reason they shouldn't go to major theme parks. At what point does it just end up being in a black room with a kuka arm and a VR headset? Disney has the money for said upgrades to make them an actual realty I.e Disneyland and their holiday version's of attractions. Whether or not tdo will spend is another thing but I don't care for vr in places where it's not needed. As I said before for six flags it's fine and definitely a cost saving measure but for Disney or universal who can make the actual attraction on in vr a reality why would you want to settle for less?

Then why not demo the Speedway and actually build a Sugar Rush race ride in its place? It would make for a better transition between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland. It's Sugar Rush.
Yeah, that part I really don't get. Then why not demo the Speedway and actually build a Sugar Rush race ride in its place? It would make for a better transition between Tomorrowland and Fantasyland.
Once again TDO seems to be going a cheaper route.
Except that Stitch is unpopular and needs to go while the Speedway remains extremely popular. Fix what's broken, now what ain't.Yeah, that part I really don't get.
A Sugar Rush-themed speedway with new electric "confectionary" kart vehicles would solve so many problems, thematically and operationally.

April 4, 2016: A report has surfaced that a Muppets inspired attraction may be headed to the second floor of Liberty Square. The original report originated on a fan's Facebook page but was re-posted on WDWMagic.com by user wdwgreek.
That's why you replace Stitch with Guardians. Or perhaps do a Stitch ride that isn't a terrible mess.Except that Stitch is unpopular and needs to go while the Speedway remains extremely popular. Fix what's broken, now what ain't.
The Speedway isn't extremely popular. It's mediocrely popular. It has a terrible capacity, and honestly, on my last two visits Stitch had just as long of a wait.Except that Stitch is unpopular and needs to go while the Speedway remains extremely popular. Fix what's broken, now what ain't.
I will be in that line tomorrow*sigh* I just realized SGE closes on Saturday. I'm the only one who likes that ride and I'm the only person who will be there for the final performance before it goes seasonal. While sad, I'm really excited for Ralph. Really hoping it's like The Simpsons ride, but each car you sit in, is a different Sugar Rush Racer's car
Can't wait to experience it one last timeI will be in that line tomorrow
Also planning on catching MSEP, gotta get enough of it before the end of the year. Can't wait to experience it one last time
By the time it opens, will the thread title spell Tomorrowland correctly?
Aren't the VR discussions off topic now that it has been confirmed Wreck It Ralph will not utilize that technology? Thankfully.
No, because nothing's been confirmed.
We had rumors going one way and now there are rumors going another way.
Not even the attraction itself has been confirmed.
