I never cared for the character, so Stitch could disappear from the theme parks entirely and I would not shed a single tear. Couldn't stand SGE, not surprisingly. I thought it was bad, almost an intelligence-insultingly sort of bad.

Good riddance to this attraction. Really not a fan. Total waste of real estate. Am I excited about Wreck It Ralph? Not particularly, but it has potential. Despite it not being the best thematic fit. This seems like the perfect place to fit Guardians of the Galaxy. Ah well.

There appears to be no dates for Stitch's Great Escape after January 2. Why not just close the whole thing down now? Any insight into the reason behind a couple months of seasonal operation?

What could be really cool would be if they moved the cannons outside (protected of course) and had a thing where it looked like there was a security camera/system looking for criminals/smugglers. Every so often, it would lock onto someone... show your image on the monitor along with your name (from the Magic Band of course) and have the cannons track an individual (also based on the magic band).

Now that would be a cool/unique/fun use of the new Magic Band system...

100% agreed. Its hated on a lot more than it probably should since it does have a few redeemable elements that I and others have mentioned. Technically speaking, I think the Speedway is the worst in MK although I would pick going on that over several other attractions.

I know right? Its sad that the redeemable elements of this attraction go unnoticed by most. Objectively speaking, this is an IP based attraction that actually fit the land it was going into, which is something most took for granted at the time of its opening.

I don't think Stitch vanishing from the parks will be possible. Especially since Lilo and Stitch (Mainly Stitch) is very popular in Tokyo Disney Resort in Japan.
