Stitch is just awful

okay so I got back from the world. Went on Stitch's great escape, toughed it out. Wow it is awful. And whereever I look, all I see, all I hear is Stitch Stitch Stitch! IMO Alien Encounter was gold compared to Stitch. But they got Stitch on the monorails, they even changed the wake up call to Stitch :cry: . And now it's not even I hate the ride, I just hate Stitch. When I heard everybody dissing the ride. I was just thinking, it can't be that bad. It was that bad. Okay, blew off some steam. I now return you to your regular scheduled forums.

Agree 100%!!! I thought the same thing about stitch, that it couldn't possibly be as bad as everyone said. It was terrible. The show ended and I thought, "That was it??!!" I didn't care at all for Alien Encounter but it was great compared to Stitch.

i have to agree. my 4 year old wanted to try it. we stood in line over an hour at during EMH. my good lord was it bad. i thought alien encounter was pretty good. i believe that if i had to choose between sitting through that again or changeing my 2 year old's diaper, i gonna have to say changeing the pooh. at least it has substance.

My biggest problem with the Stitch's Great Escape was how uncomfortable the seat was. For me uncomfortable seats really took away from the show.

well the seats are the same as they were during AE. and i have to say just one thing is alright about Stitch. At least the AAs are pretty good. the guns move very quickly and i found this the only interesting part of the ride. otherwise, ya it sucks. wut were they thinking......

Personally, I loved AE... and was disapointed at the fact that they changed it even before I went on the Stich ride... but I agree, it's pretty awful. When I went on in Feb, for some reasons the restraints hurt my shoulders even more then when I went in December of the year BEFORE....

And the toliet humor Stich uses to gain laughs ie: burping chilly dogs.... is just revolting, and not at all funny. I didn't think the imagineers could ever sink to such a cheap, low level. Ugh, it's just a horrid attraction and I'm just hoping and praying it has a short life span...

i figured out why they did it... ok hold on......... *drum roll*

IT WAS A PRANK. ya that's it Eisner is behind the whole thing. it was built just before him stepping down from CEO. it was like a senior prank at a high skool. Eisner forced the imagineerrs to do it. dang u eisner, dang u to heck. this misery is all his fault.

Hasn't the opinion that SGE sucks been discussed enough, or did you also feel the need to jump on the bandwagon?

I wouldn't blame the Imagineers. Those in the Strategic Planning, Marketing, and Upper Management pretty much created the environment for this attraction to replace an amazing sensory experience.

Do you find people being sprayed with blood revolting? Like what happened in AE?

agreed it has been discussed to death.

That's why I'm not going to mention that I avoided going on the ride my last visit. In addition, there was a long wait. So I didn't go on it and I don't think I missed much.

No, actually I didn't.But perhaps thats because I've taken in too many horror movies... and I didn't SMELL the blood. The chilly dog smell made me sick for a hour after.

I think that to the untrained, not Disney-fanatic, first/second time guest, Stitch is a good ride.

It only becaomes bad when people like us compare it to AE.
