Stitch Chamber Down All Week

Does anyone know what changes are being made to the chamber? I haven't seen this attraction yet, but with all the bad reports about it, I may not want to see it. Hopefully the changes they make will be for the better.

1st time participant here. Sorry for interrupting, but AE was scary? To who? I went thru it the 1st time in 97, and it was uninteresting. Am I the exception? I don't go to WDW to get AE. For that, I go to Universal or any other Flagpole parks (or whatever). I go to WDW for Disney ambiance.

Mind you, Stitch IS probably boring. I'm going in July. But it'll be tough to beat AE.

we neve found AE to be scary, but we saw a lot of kids freaking out and crying. but we've seen the same things on Stitch. it broke the WDW mold for cutesy attractions, and I don't think parents prepare their kids or know enough about the attraction themselves before taking little ones on it. AE benefitted with a good storyline. SGE can't seem to do the same.

I am glad they are trying to rework this attraction. My son(12) and I have found AE a funny attraction for years. We went on Stitch for the first time yesterday. I tried to keep an open mind, and was happy to see Skippy was hanging out in his jar.

But the show was blah. My son was very disappointed and complained about lack of story for an hour afterwards.

Just one informational note: They were operating Fast Pass yesterday on Stitch. It sold out early so maybe they reduced the tickets?

Sorry to inform you, but the fastpass machines at stitch's great escape have been closed all week. I work there and they remained covered from opening to closing. Perhaps you saw guests with alternate entrance passes and give kids the world going through the FP line and guests doing a child swap.

I believe ya. :) I overheard a CM at Stitch tell a guest around 5pm or so that all the Fastpasses were sold out for the day, that's what gave me the mis-information. :D

Thanks!!

No problem!! This whole week I had to repeat the same message to guests that we had no fastpasses. I would repeat it almost four times to each guest because they would stare at me continually, like they expected me to change my mind and say: "oh, we have fastpass open! my mistake!!"
1: I am sorry maam/sir, fastpass is not open today at Stitch's Great Escape.
2: I'm sorry it's not operating today!!
3: We do not have fastpass today!!
4: fastpass is closed!!sorry!!:brick:
