Stitch attracting a redo?

I miss when Alien Encounter was there. I realize that attraction was marketed to older guests. An attraction that is not child friendly at Magic Kingdom is a no-no these days. Yet, what was SO right about Alien Encounter? Admittedly, I first saw it as a kid so I may be biased.

They could bring it back with better effects and randomizing to make it a different experience every time. This may attract more than a 5-minute wait and they could save by retaining the old sets and props.

Skippy and SIR.

If they insist on retrofying the parks, maybe they could give us Mission to Mars. I don't remember what it was like.

Oh....you know that would be cool! :) I remember the original...much bigger room... but primative....but with today's tech they could make the two current rooms into "crew seating" for the spacecraft and make this a family freindly space journey.......

Two things....I remember the rooms being about the same size as they are now.

Doesn't M:S at Epcot already have this covered?

i think if anything they'd probably need to go for something inbetween. alien encounter was apparently too scary for kids, but stitch is too soft for adults.
or just something completely new.

Eh.. I love "Lilo & Stitch" but Stitch's Great Escape certainly fares pretty low on everything in Tomorrowland for me. Personally, I'd much rather them retire Stitch and implement a Wall-E attraction in the space. Then again, if a refurb of the existing attraction is in the cards, I'd be interested to see what is done with it.

Same here, BIG fan of Lilo and Stitch, and even Stich himself ( despite some people finding him annoying ). In fact, I'll even go so far as to say the Stitch animatronic itself is pretty awesome.

But that's about it... I would love a return to ExtraTerrorestrial Encounter myself... but I really really really don't like the Stitch attraction. every time we go ( about every two years ), I tell myself "meh, it's probably not AS bad as we remember it..."... no it is...
