Staying as long as CM's let you @ park DUMP is the BEST way to get GREAT night WDW photo shots!

I did this last night as a matter of fact, as I hate the stampede to the monorail and ferry. I stayed for about 50 minutes just walking around with my little girl who loved it as well.

As others have stated, great photo ops.

One thing we found out that doesn't stay open, or didn't last night, the Baby Care Center. A lot of parents were trying to get an easy diaper change there right after Wishes but the doors were locked! The line for the bathroom changing tables was longer than BTMRR!

Another possibility is an early morning dining reservation. One of my favorite pics is my daughter (then 5) and I standing alone in front of the castle with no one else in the background! Bright sunshine and blue skies were also a plus! The perfect start to a magical day!

I went to an EMH night at EPCOT with my brother and we got the last ride on Soarin'. Because we were staying at the Yacht Club, we were able to pass through Future World a bit and walk past Canada and UK before going through the International Gateway. Why we didn't take pictures is beyond me, but it's awesome just looking around and taking it all in. There was a line of CMs blocking the rest of WS, of course, so they are trying to funnel you out of the park. Other than that, there really wasn't anyone else walking back to the International Gateway but us. It's absolutely incredible, with all of the BGM still running and nobody else around. :king:

DH and I always stay in Epcot after the park closes. we stay normally an hour after closing. Very peaceful and romantic. We just sit on a bench at WS. I've taken some great pictures.

We do this as well! We found that the photopass photographers are out and we have wonderful pics from Christmas on Main Street with the decor and no one else in the background. We now always schedule an ADR before the park opens.

Obviously this works with staying on property, anyone know how long the trams would run to take you back to your car? Our next visit is in the planning stages and there is a chance we will be staying off-site, i know i know :brick:

You know back in September we stayed until close and then checked out the shops down main street. We saw the one store where you can personalize Mickey and Minnie ears (forget the name, right in the corner too). My wife and I picked one out for our niece and nephew and then waited for quite some time for their names to be embroided on there. All the while we are sitting on the bench on Main Street watching the few people left walk out of the park. We just sat there and soaked it all up, it was amazing. And not ONE CM said a word to us about moving along. So we finally got out of there 90 minutes after the park closed and took the monorail back to the parking tram, lol

Back in the days when they had the "blowoff" on the Inferno Barge after the park closed, I was easily able to stay in the park for about 90 minutes after the park closing time, waiting to video the blowoff. Before then, I circled World Showcase very slowly, taking photos along the way. I watched the blowoff from the UK bridge, and then exited out to the Boardwalk through the IG.

(As a side note, I don't believe the blowoff happens anymore, as they've worked it into the final blast of fire in Chaos)

In the Magic Kingdom, the "Kiss Goodnight" at the Castle is often scheduled to run as late as 90 minutes after closing time...

What is the "Kiss Goodnight"?

Since they clean literally the entire park every night, I would imagine someone will be there for most of the night, so they don't mind if you take your time - but you do have to leave eventually!
If you're picking up trash, maybe they'll even ask you to stay.
