We're off the WL from 8/1 - 17/8 are there any rooms we should request /avoid? We have booked a wood view.

How do I go about arranging a suprise in our room on arrival for my DH and DS?

Thanks

I would definintely request a room facing the MK. Keep in mind that the 7th floor rooms have balconies that are enclosed and you would not be able to see much unless standing out on the balcony. Also, you may want to request a room closer to the front of the lodge to cut down a couple minutes of walking time, if you care. Have a great vacation! You will love the lodge.

7th floor is concierge or whatever they are calling it now. 6th floor balconies are enclosed as well and that's what we like to stay on.

To the OP...ask for rooms overlooking the bog and the MK (_022- _032) and you have a decent chance of seeing the castle and maybe some fireworks .
_032 is right by an elevator that will lead you to the bottom of the ram by the Roarin' Forks snack bar and the laundry facilities. We have stayed in 6030 & 6032 numerous times and it's not very noisy for being near an elevator.

Enjoy the Electrical Water Pageant from the beach (if you don't mind very loud music) or from the balcony above the brook looking towards the pond for a more quiet experience.

If you can work a skillet breakfast in at the Whispering Canyon I think you will enjoy it, we have it nearly every morning :slurp:

For nine months? Five of which don't exist? You definitely want the TARDIS room. It's much bigger on the inside than it is on the outside :).

OK - seriously... if you can? I would suggest Woods View, sixth floor, between 6004 and 6018. You might be able to see some of Wishes from your balcony.

I agree with Trotsky. Also, in these rooms (at least some of them) you will have Livis as your mousekeeper, and she is really awesome. Made our vaca so much more magical! And wishes were beautiful every night.

My last stay at WL, we had 2 rooms on the first floor, woods view, near the guest laundry. Although I had stayed on the 6th floor before and could see the fireworks, from the 1st floor I could see an alligator in the pond. Besides, most nights I wasn't in the room during the fireworks, so the first floor worked out great too.
