Staying after close at restaurants

I know the shops stay open after close, and if you are in line before close you still get to ride the attractions. I have a question regarding the Alfresco Tasting Terrace. If we are there 30 minutes before close to we have to leave at close?

Not sure about DL but beind a westcoaster at WDW we usually eat as late as possible. East coast 9pm being our 6pm. We've been escorted to the gates at Epcot more than once. That being said, I think DL/DCA would be accomodating to you. We are the laid back ones :)

I wanted to try out the Alfresco Tasting Terrace around 8:30 on Tuesday night, April 28. DCA is closing at 9 in response to DL closing at 7:30. I could scarf down the risotto balls and at least one wine flight in 30 minutes if I had to.

This is the kind of question we're not really well suited to answer here on the forums - it's so very specific. I'd recommend calling the resort or tweeting @DisneylandToday to get a for sure answer.

It is my understanding that they do not allow people upstairs to the lounge one hour before park closing. I was there Saturday night and I heard a CM tell people they could not go upstairs because the park was closing in less than an hour. I hope that helps!

Cove bar shut the line down an hour before closing if I recall last time I was there too. I did have the fortune of dining at Club 33 once with a meal that ran hours after closing. Was definitely quite a treat to be escorted out of a completely empty park (with the music still running!)

Thank you everyone, I see that it is hit and miss.
We are going to Catalina on Tuesday, and I was trying to plan some late activities in the park after Disneyland announced it closes at 7:30 pm. Disney California Adventure was my only hope, it closes at 9:00 now. I am sure we will not starve at a Disney, ever. I can check out the Hearthstone Lounge or DTD, although staying in the park would be nice. I did splurge on the premium view at Grand California. Worse case scenario, we can always have hotel room coffee on our balcony. When you are a visitor from far away and on your once a year vacation, you have to be creative on the non peak days to get the most out of early closures.
I was hoping to hear some of your experiences to give me ideas. You never let me down.

I checked the Disneyland website and they posted more hours.
It looks like we can visit the Hearthstone Lounge if all fails in the park.
No aged cheddar risotto balls, but lots of wine!

oh, of course! It is way more fun to stay in the park. I was just saying in case of hunger after the parks are closed. :)

The Hearthstone Lounge looks very tempting for late night munchies. I would be close to the Park anyway!
