Static smilies

As I'm typing this the smilies box to the left has a bunch of very active laughing, slurping, vomiting smilies but as soon as I introduce one into this text - :wave: like so, they all stop?!

Is there a way to get them moving again as it can be confusing sometimes to distinguise between a stationary slurper, smiler, tongue poker etc.

that happens with me too. What browser are you using? Im using AOL 6.

mine never moved!!
i didnt even KNOW they moved until i was checking the boards at a friends house
and im not using aol... microsoft internet explorer 6.0

I'm using IE5 here and even with or without praying or cursing it seems to make no diff.

Nope, stopped 'em dead in their tracks again :veryconfu !!

They will still show animated on your post though......perhaps they are upset they have been spotted and are pretending to not be there
