Well, so far nothing has happened with the Miami flights...BUT we're, more than likely, going to cancel them and use the flights at a different time. :rolleyes: DF was going to actually cancel them that day, but I'd told him that 1 of us (not me) had already made a rash decision that day, let's look into things and make sure it wouldn't work out...something we SHOULD'VE done before the tickets were even booked. :hammer: But I know we have to cancel them. It's just too risky with only 36 hours between when we're supposed to land from Miami and leave for our honeymoon. Especially given that time of year and how "reliable" the airlines are these days anyway. :rolleyes:

And we leave for Nebraska next Thursday evening...so excited! :sohappy:

What about you, any plans for the 4th? Can't believe it's already next week!!

It's a gorgeous day out today, after all the storms yesterday.

And DH and DS leave for work soon! :sohappy:

Good for you for keeping a level head about you. (unlike your DF :rolleyes:) I would be way too stressed out, too, with that short of a turnaround time between trips. It sounds like canceling would be the smartest move.

Wow, only one more week till Nebraska! We actually LOVE the 4th of July. :o It might just be my favorite holiday, although Christmas is heading back to the top of the list now that we're not home for it. :rolleyes: We have a pool party/barbecue at our house, although this year it will be smaller than normal b/c 2 of our good friends are having babies. It should still be fun, though.
