grrrrr!!!!

I need help!

Ok, long story, not so short... DH's birthday is Aug 31. I wanted to surprise him and plan a trip to Indianapolis, where we first got to know each other, etc. Also, Maroon Five (one of our favorite bands) has a concert there on the 28. So I bought tickets. The whole trip is going to be a complete surprise. He won't know something is up till we pass Nashville.

WELL, I wasn't very familiar with the best way of buying concert tickets, so I asked a mutual friend of ours and told him my idea. Well, he just called to tell me that DH wants to surprise me with tickets to Maroon Five for MY birthday, which is before his. :brick::lol::hammer::ROFLOL: I already bought the tickets to the one in Indy! According to my friend, DH wants tickets to the Nashville show, but I didn't think they were playing in Nashville. I can't look it up here at work. The site is not working for me.

What do I do?

I can look it up...hang on..you want to see if Maroon 5 is playing is Nashville?

As for what to do, you're probably going to either have to come clean or try to convince him that you don't want to see Maroon 5 in concert.

Yeah. Nashville... I guess or Alabama maybe...?:shrug:

I don't want to come clean... In my mind the surprises the whole trip was part of the whole "coolness" of his birthday presents. I could hint at not wanting to go... though he knows that we already really wanted to go.

Is the friend in question supposed to get the tickets for DH?
If so, maybe he could tell him he couldn't make it happen and suggest tickets for something else?

Yes I did thanks! It was great. I have a table full of presents at my house I have to put away and write thank you cards for. The only one I got out last night at home was the book I got "Eclipse" [It's from the Twilight series that I started reading last Wednesday...yeah I am already on book 3].

Kat- I tried to look on ticketmaster for you but I didn't see a show in Nashville either. They are coming to Riverbend in Cincy...I may have to look into that :lookaroun for myself.

hmm... that might be the case... i have a feeling he was wanting to know if our friend and his wife wanted to go as well...

There is a Birmingham AL one for Sept. 30, but that's the only one I see...no TN at all.
