That space inside is HUGE, I'm surprised they couldn't find any way to put seating in there. It almost makes me wonder if WDW is deliberately avoiding seating for their Starbucks venues.

Odd, since both Disneyland and DCA's Starbucks have seating.
It isnt really huge, not as big as Main Street Bakery
By the time you have 2 serving sides and some queue space, it is gone.

At 11:00 AM today (Sunday, Jan 25) there were lots of costumed cast members in training inside the Starbucks location at Hollywood Studios. There were pastries and drinks in the shelves. If the venue didn't open later this afternoon, I am guessing it could be open tomorrow. While my view was limited through a partially covered window, there appeared to be seating along the front wall. No pictures, as the outside looked the same.

That's what I was thinking too. I imagine they have allowed a lot of room for the queue as it is sure to be popular.

Very exciting!

I'm looking forward to it opening. While I don't LOVE Starbucks I do like it and it's better then Joffrey's. As long as Starbucks isn't rubbed in our faces all over the park I'm good with it.

They are in location training. They will have test openings first for cast only with vouchers and then they will do vouches with limited guests. Basically we have about a week before it will be open to guests.

My girlfriend was an opening cast member at the Epcot Starbucks which is why I know this.

And I am pretty "meh" on Starbucks and feel that Joffrey's is a superior product. Kudos to the Parks for throwing in a little variety.

I kind of feel mixed about Starbucks increasing their places in Disney World. It's great for the Disney economy since it is so popular and gives people choices that they have had before, but it is sub-par coffee with undeserving prices. I honestly had better coffee from The Boardwalk. Although, I do like the Starbucks architecture in MK; I wish all Starbucks looked that classy. I just hope there won't be a Starbucks every corner you turn; that would be a disappointment.

As a serious caffeine addict, one thing I wonder about is this - I think the Starbucks craze has peaked and is starting on a bit of a downward slope. I already knew that if I was out and about and wanted a quick cup of joe, I preferred Dunkin' Donuts. A lot of people near me in central Indiana didn't know this, but since DD has moved into our area it turns out a lot of them agree with me. Plus, it is 40% the price.

I prefer DD over Starbucks, too, although my favorite coffee place is the Coffee Beanery, which I only know is in one location. If I do go to Starbucks, I only get plain coffee; their syrups for the lattes, macchiatos, and such are way too sweet and artificial for my taste. I usually say that Starbucks is like the Apple of coffee; known for their "high-end" stuff that's pretty crappy in comparison to other places.

Although, in my area they do sell gourmet coffee (coffee flavors from particular countries) that are pretty amazing and aren't the Starbucks brand. Although it's $3 for a cup of coffee, it is pretty tasty (I usually drink those coffees straight up with no sugar or cream)

My favorite place is right across the street (almost) from where I work and is also in one location. It is called Cafe Royale. Run by this middle eastern dude. Maybe 10-15% more than Starbucks, but worth every penny.
