maybe next the hand dipped Ice cream store sponsored by EDDYs will become a DAIRY QUEEN and instead of fresh baked cones they will have average cake cones. Maybe we can replace the resturants in EPCOT around the world with CRACKER BARREL and DENNYS. Come on folks you know this is wrong.

So if the action was THE MAIN STREET BAKERY SPONSORED BY STARBUCKS that would be different, they would still be baking thier own pastries and serving STARBUCKS coffee.
You're joking, right? That's EXACTLY what it is. Have you ever been to a Starbucks? It's not my favorite joint but they sure as heck don't serve the breakfast sandwiches they're selling at MSB.

obviously you have not seen the packaged cakes and sandwiches they serve now, stop in and see what you have missed. the same cakes and cookies you can by at any Starbucks in America. Step inside and see for yourself or maybe you never had anything from the old bakery, like the sticky buns, croissants etc. FRESH MADE.

Starbucks there is still a travesty. Their snack food offering is just awful. Oh look, a little square of dried out coffee cake, awesome. This is how they are everywhere, just not very good (I don't drink coffee so I can't comment on their coffee). The old bakery on Main Street was much better.

McDonalds makes little sense in MK, but whatever, it takes up very little space and is tucked away.

I was there like a month ago and had a breakfast sandwich that was ten times better than anything they ever sold at the "old" MSB except for maybe the sticky bun that you can still get at Gaston's anyways. Who cares if they offer some "regular" items alongside their "unique" items?

And, what is so wrong with that? Starbucks has a very successful model and in my opinion they sell good food and drinks. I'm sorry if you're mad the bakery is gone, and that you liked what was sold there, but it's gone now. I can certainly see your point in wanting them to keep selling at least some of what used to be sold there, but that obviously wasn't part of the agreement between Disney and Starbucks.

OK I'll try one more time, THIS IS NOT A SPONSORSHIP OF THE MAIN STREET BAKERY , ITS A STARBUCKS IN PLACE OF THE BAKERY.

I LOVE STRABUCKS JUST NOT ON MAIN STREET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN PLACE OF A HOMEMADE BAKERY.

1. It's NOT a Starbucks. It's Main Street Bakery serving Starbucks Coffee.

2. It was never a homemade bakery genius. It is and always has been mass-produced entertainment.

Like it or dislike it, everyone is entitled to their opinion. But your opinion is based on flat-out falsehoods.

Obviously you were never in the bakery to see what they offered. it was homemade baked goods. Some people just don't get it and think its an attack on their Starbucks empire. Not the case. Quality vs packaged mass produced cake. a step up from little debbys

At the risk that you just want to argue, at any rate, from 1971 when it was a Sara Led it was never 'homemade" baked goods. Trust me or not as you will, but having been to Disney to see the food handling/dietary software and systems to evaluate them for my hospital's use (they are third party by the way), I can tell you without any doubt that they were not homemade goods. Give it up, nothing has really changed since 1971 regardless of what you want to believe.
