Starbucks among other new vendors at Disney

When I go on vacation I like going to places where there are new things. traveling thousands of miles and get to a destination that has every franchise there that I just left at home is boring. I think when I encounter stores and rresturants that I don't have back home thats fun. One of the reasons I liked Disney so much it the unique resturants with their own twist. It's an escape from the boring. The last think I want to see after traveling a thousand miles is franchiseville in the parks.
and quite a few people like something familiar after traveling thousands of miles to a place where nearly everything is different. This is why every Starbucks on property has a line from opening to close.

Disney has utilized franchises as part of their restaurant lineup in both US parks before, and continue to do so.

And I was under the impression this thread was about Starbucks and the former Main Street Bakery....

MSB is the thread, but the concern is will this trend continue in WDW. Will they use the Starbucks test and continue in that direction? Will we see Nathans take over Caseys Next, and so on.

And again, since you can't seem to stay on your own topic, TWDC has used outside franchises in the past, present, and will do so in the future....

the only reason they have a line is because their drink menu is complex and requires more time to make a drink than pouring a standard cup of coffee. This has been a problem for Starbucks for a long time and it keeps them from making greater profits. They have a problem cutting down the average wait time per customer. The Main Street Bakery also had lines to buy those delicious baked goods and they also had places to sit down and relax.

Sure. Being popular and enjoyed by millions has nothing to do with it.

You seem to know an awful lot about Starbucks for a person who claims they are the devil incarnate at WDW.

THATS ANOTHER LIE, I NEVER SAID THAT. If you followed the thread I have said numerous times I like Starbucks coffee and their company. I state that on the first statement in the thread.

yes they are but that doesn't mean that Disney should have allowed the takeover of the Bakery, the should have given them the coffee rights and kept the baked goods.
WalMart serves millions should they turn over the disney store in downtown disney to Wal Mart next?

And they've been using corporate sponsorships since the inception of the parks....

LORD for the last time this IS NOT A CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP, do you understand the difference, I guess not. THEY TOOK OVER THE BAKERY IT IS A BAKERY NO MORE. ITS A COFFEE SHOP WITH PACKAGED CAKES SHIPPED IN FROM A SAN FRANCISCO CO. Starbucks themselves conceded this point. They actually wanted to chang the name of the MSB but backed off that idea.
