Was there a bigger fireworks show that did run like two times a year at the village or pi?

There was a smaller scale 4th of July show up until 10 or so years ago. I dont remember if there was anything other than that in previous years.
My reply to your comment was about you replying that the Every night is NYE at PI assuming that you considered those nightly events as a fireworks show.
As for scale, recently there have been comments on this site about not enough fireworks being in the new DHS Christmas show. I suppose that to some, a handful of mines and cakes constitutes a fireworks show, but then how does one judge the quantity of product in a newer show?
How many shells/mines/comets per minute is "enough" for a fireworks show to the WDW Magic expert show managers and designers.

No, I was replying to the comment that DTD is neutered due to its location and they haven't 'its been decades since dtd did fireworks and even that was only like 2 nights a year'
They did do fireworks (fact)
And no matter if you call it a show or not, there is no other selective night events that the poster would have been referring to.. hence 'scale' is moot because there is no other show to be confused with. Scale doesn't change which event I or the other poster could have been referring to.
So scale is irrelevant to the conversation... not that scale is irrelevant to firework shows.

I recall a poster on this site (I never said Disney) saying the show was previewed at half the length of its full runtime and the full-length show would premiere on whenever the premiere date was. Not sure if I misread something or what.but....but...you just said...
Some of the sequences were cut because they didn't work well over water. They went with a show that they felt showcased the technology as good as possible.
