I know. But the way I wrote out itinerary we don't have another morning in DHS. And if I remember correctly the motorcade runs before noon. Maybe I'll get lucky and it will run later this year.

Star Tours opens at midday on the 20th.

I would expect the park to close at somepoint. It could hit capacity. I heard they are expecting upwards of 66,000. That is not a day I would want to be at Studios.

Should be pretty much the same line up as last year. Though some characters will be getting and updated or upgraded look. Also the character schedules have been rewritten from scratch, so the locations with multiple characters should be less confusing (hopefully)

I didn't see this in my scan of the relevant threads so here goes. There is a rumor that George Lucas is in town for the ST2 opening festivities. It makes sense, but does anybody have any idea what the schedule might be? I guessed his presence might have something to do with the delayed opening time Friday.

If Lucas is there it is all being kept VERY VERY quiet by Disney. I would suspect if he is we will only see him at the actual Opening Ceremony at 10:15 at the hat. I wouldn't expect him to be involved in anything else.

As to why the ride may be opening at midday I have NO idea, other than they want everyone front and center for the opening ceremony.
