From SWW 2007. During the parade Ray Park (Darth Maul) noticed a kid standing next to me with a Darth Maul double lightsaber. He jumped out of the car, grabbed the lightsaber, spun it around and finished with the butterfly kick.

Not bad at all. Do you know where this was announced? Not sure how I missed that, but this is exciting. I'll be out of town for one of the weekends (which is why I didn't wind up auditioning). Honestly, I'd be thrilled to meet all three of the special guests, because I love Lando, and I'm a huge HP fan so meeting Warwick Davis would be really exciting as well. And Ray Park, obvs.

The info has been trickling out over the last month or so. If you plan on meeting Ray and Billie Dee you better get in line early. Like midnight-1:00 AM kind of early.

...like the day of park opening? cheesus.

Also can you get more than one FP for M&G a day (Like if I wanted to meet Ray and Warwick on the same day), or is it limited to one a day?

Yes. The lines for the autographs have become quite nuts for anyone of notoriety.

You can get 1 FP per person in line. The kicker is that after you get one FP you have to get back in line for the other celebrity. If you get 2 popular people on the same day getting a FP for each can be near impossible unless you bring friends with you.

Yeah, that's nuts. Does it tend to be slightly less busy on Fridays? Because I have Fridays off from work, but waiting in line that long isn't really an option for me because my mother and I share a car, and I have to take her to work around six. Do you know if Warwick Davis draws a long line?

Friday does tend to be better. It is also my understanding that they began to hand out fastpasses well before the park opened last year. I would assume that they will be doing the same this year.

Warwick tends to have more sane lines.

I'll probably go the first friday just to gauge how bad/crazy it's going to be, and pick up some merch, and then week two, if I'm unable to get a Ray Park pass, at least get Warwick since I'm a huge Harry Potter nerd as well. And then just wait and see with Billy Dee. I honestly can't say I'm surprised that it's so insane, but I wasn't expecting Black-Friday esque madness. Then again I'm sure plenty of people plan their Disney vacations around this. Thanks for all of the answers, Master Yoda.

It seems to get worse almost every year. I remember when getting there at 5-6 was crazy. The last year I did autographs was in 2010 and getting there at 3 was almost not early enough (got the second to last FP for Billie Dee). At that point I cried no mas to the autographs. If someone like Mark Hamill does it I'll venture back into the fray.

That's insane. If I didn't have to share the car I'd seriously consider it, but it'd be impossible for me to make that arrangement, unless my boyfriend and I went on a Saturday or something. Warwick Davis it is. It's frustrating that sort of precedent was set, as well, because it has to be terribly exhausting for the people that have been there all night, and then spend the whole day in the park.

That is was. The day ended up being about a 20 hour day for my wife and I. Those were doable when we were in out 20's. At 40, not so much.

It's a shame they can't come up with a better way to do the autographs. I can't say anything because I wouldn't stand in line at 1:00am....even if it was my beloved Mark Hamill! lol But...What about pre-ordering tickets or something? Like if they only give out so many fastpasses, just say "The first 100 people to call gets tickets." and give a limit so one person can't buy 100 tickets, lol i dunno.

But I guess that would take away the fun of standing in line at 1am.

oh, and I guess it's somewhat related to Star Wars Weekend. But I went to Disney last week and bought myself the R2D2 popcorn bucket! I was so excited, lol I wanted one when I was there last May but since I was flying, I really didn't have the room for it. This trip I drove so could buy anything I want. It is now sitting at my desk holding pens and people think I'm crazy.
