Love this pic with Ray Park and my hubby with his Darth Maul Mickey ears on! Our main mission that trip was to get those ears signed!! I don't get to go this year but I made a few ears (Darth Maul, Boba Fett, etc.) that I'm selling on my ETSY shop if anyone is interested.

Plan on getting in line really early. Like 3-4 AM early.

We had to try two different mornings. We had our young girls with us so we couldn't do the 3 a.m. thing, we did go about 2 hrs. early though and got only standby tickets, but luckily my husband was able to see him. Another nice perk, if there are too many guests at the gates early they tend to open the park early so there isn't too large of a crowd going in all at once, we were able to get in the park and ride some of the longer line rides with no line at all, it was awesome!
We got standby the first year we met time as well. No question that Ray Park turns the fan friendliness up to 11.

This is my first trip to Star Wars Weekend this year. Just going to take in the different atmosphere etc.. don't care about meeting the stars being I see them all the time at Dragoncon (and drink with them at the bar, did jagerbombs at Ray Park's table). I wanna take in the different shows and maybe some cool merch. Question? hows the ride lines during SWW?

I'm a little annoyed at Disney. We had booked on a weekend at June because we thought Star Wars Weekend would be on that weekend but they bumped it up to May and it ends just as we're gonna get there. BOO!
SWW has almost always been the last 2 weekends in May and the the first two weekends in June. 2007 was the last time in recent memory that they went outside of the May/June pattern. This was due to a conflict caused by Star Wars Celebration 4.
It depends on what it is as well as just flat out luck. There is usually some of the high dollar LE items still available, but individual LE pins, pushes and figures tend to be out of stock. Non-LE merchandise tends to be in good supply even on the last day.We are going to Star Wars weekend, but unfortunately the very last one! How hard is it to get some of the limited edition Stars Wars merchandise?? I really want some of the cool stuff but worried it will be sold out!!!!!!!!
