That cupcake was AMAZING. I was disappointed it was actually peanut butter at first...for those who didn't get a chance to try it, the entire top of the cupcake is not chocolate frosting...it's peanut butter covered in chocolate frosting! But it was delicious and I was very surprised. I want to do Star Wars Weekend so bad again. I had so much fun.

As such, AE really has no business being the host of SW Weekends. Shoot, I could take over as host of SW Weekends. And I would do it dressed as Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Look, I don't want to start a fight because this thread is awesome. But I have to say that I completely disagree with you.

I don't mind the guests. As of right now, most of the Star Wars audience is about the Clone Wars (It's the most recent and still going part of the franchise and people seem to like it) so the names are recognizable. Ashley seems really sweet and nice and if she is willing to be the host when the other 'big names' aren't interested, then why not?

What's funny about your statement though is you say she has no business being at SWW because her character isn't a real Star Wars character and never mentioned in the films....yet, you want to host dressed as Grand Admiral Thrawn despite the fact that he is in the same boat...if not worse...than Ashley's character? Sorry, that's kind of hypocritical. Unless I am reading that line wrong and you are being sarcastic. If so, then my apologies.

I am not a prequel fan and do not watch Clone Wars. But if they are met with positive feedback from guests and fans, then why not let them be a part of the weekends. It adds to the atmosphere.

Ok, first of all, this was the BEST Luke I have ever met (ok, the only one but wow he was awesome). The picture doesn't do him justice. He was so in character and quite nice to look at. Sounded just like Luke. Anyway…I was not going to get any character pictures this trip but when I saw him out, I couldn't resist and got in line. He was amazing.

The next day, I decided to see if I could meet Leia. It took me a few tries (and a second visit with Luke...which I didn't mind at all) and I finally got to meet her.

Princess Leia was so pretty and sweet. She asked me about Pepe and I told her he was a King Prawn. She then asked what "system" he came from and I told her he was from the coast of Spain...at least that is what it said in his book. She was surprised to hear he had a book and I said yes, he is a very famous prawn.

She then asked me about my pins and I told her I normally was not a pin collector but had to buy the starter kit because there was a Luke pin and Luke was my favorite character. She said he was quite a favorite with the ladies and I said 'yes, he's very charming.' (Still Star Struck with my meeting with him at the time, lol) She chuckled and said that she would tell him I said that but then said she may not because she didn't want the flattery to go to his head. I said, no, we wouldn't want that.

After a quick hug, she told me to to have a wonderful day and I told her good luck with the rebellion. This was probably one of the best interactions with a character I have ever had. Leia is now a favorite of mine.
