Star Wars Weekends 2010 Guest list

Ugh why must Disney keep torturing me? Both James Arnold Taylor AND Dee Bradly Baker this year? To me, I think voice actors are on par with most of the regular actors in Hollywood. What makes me upset is I know they are going to pull the same stunt they did last year and not have the voice actors signing autographs. I'd give my right arm to meet them (not my left arm though...I need that)

Uuuhhhhhhh... they don't let the Clone Wars guys sign?!?! Really? Then why in the world are they there? I was really looking forward to get Dee Bradley Baker, not only is he Captain Rex and all the Clone Troopers but he's Perry the Platypus as well.

Will they let the hosts sign? Jeremy Bullock the original Boba Fett and Ashley Ecstein the voice of Ahsoka will be there. Kinda dumb to have guests and not let them sign.

Not only that but Dee is also the voice of Klaus from American Dad and Numbuh 4 from Codename: Kids Next Door. Plus James Arnold Taylor is really amazing when it comes to voice work! He played one of my favorite characters on Drawn Together, Wooldoor Sockbat. Here's hoping Disney changed there minds and are going to let the voice actors meet and greet. I was really disappointed last year when they just had the actors there for the clone wars presentation and then shooed them away.

Well they are listed here with the other guests for each weekend so maybe they'll be with them? I hope so! I would love to find a Perry color 8 x 10 to get signed. I am a huge SW fan but I love Phineas and Ferb as well. Maybe I'll bring an American Dad DVD set?

That's what I'll be doing...just in case they allow the voice actors to meet their fans. I'm bringing along my Drawn Together boxed set for James Arnold Taylor to sign, and for Dee Bradly Baker I have my original unopened set of Kids Next Door action figurers. Yes, I know I'm a nerd, but hey...I love cartoons:sohappy:

We came across SWW several years back. We didn't know anything about them. Had we known we probably would have planned better. We didn't get to see any of the big stars. I couldn't even tell you who was there, but we did get our picture taken with some stormtroopers ( that was cool) and Star Wars Mickey. DHS (MGM then) was sooooooo crowded. But it looked like everyone was having a great time.

I remember a show call Shop to you Drop with Dee Bradley Baker as the co-host. Any one else remember watching it? It was cheesy fun!

Do they actually have autograph signings for these? And can anyone tell me how the format is with it? How is the best to approach it? Because I have Mighty Mugg figures of Lando, Chewie, and Darth Maul that I would LOVE to be signed by the actors! :D Thanks for any info.

From what I've heard, unless you are a Star Wars fan, it can be a bit overwhelming to be at DHS during SWW. In that case you may want to visit the other parks during the weekend. If you are a true fan, you'll be glad you went, even with the insane crowds.

Hope that sums it up.

If he wants to, heck yes let him wear a costume. I don't know if there are any rules for kids with helmets, though.
When it comes to kids they are pretty lenient. It is however not allowed when it comes to adults and is pretty strictly enforced for obvious reasons.

I only know Billy Dee Williams specifically from LOST and Star Wars. >.>

1/12 ain't bad, right?

That completely encompasses my knowledge of him as well. All the same I'd be happy to meet him and discuss his "little maneuver at the battle of Tanaab". I'm sure he hears that at least once a week. :animwink:
