In all seriousness, I am not too worried. I read a bunch of the books in the 1990s...a lot...but I never got into 'what's canon' debate. I follow the 3 original films and anything else is just extra. whether or not they boot certain stories out of the 'canon' shouldn't ruin your enjoyment of them. The books (hopefully) should still be there for people to read and enjoy (or ignore if you are not a fan of a particular story).

I may not consider them canon but they are still a part of the Star Wars history. It will be interesting to see what they do with all this.
